I'm sorry I really don't mean it as a brag (honestly I really don't!) but I just wanted to share that he's very good with my birthdays as I love F1. As I turned 30 this year he also got me some lovely bits such as a Garmin watch (for when I ran the London marathon) and a spa day with my mum. But when it comes to Christmas he gets really stressed! We only buy each other little bits for Christmas but as he's a bit of a drama queen he flounces around the house getting all stressed about what he's going to buy me! He always ends up buying me lovely things so I don't know whay he gets like this, I think it may be because he knows i'm super organised and have usually got all of his already so he feels under pressure! Plus he usually only leaves himself about a week to get all of the pressies he needs to!
I think my planning ways may be rubbing off on him though as we were in the Card Factory the other day and he saw 7 birthdays cards for £1, so he said we had to buy them and keep them ready for people's birthdays! :T
Bless him! another sweetie!
am a big F1 fan too - am a big Hamilton supporter, DS is Alonso supporter, so you can guess how it is on GP weekends in our house!OH supports Ferrari and Lewis ... good bit of bullet dodging methinks!
he introduced me to F1 the weekend we met and have loved it ever since. The only Gps' we could do abroads would be Monaco (expensive!) or Spa (rain!) as they are the only ones on the calendar that mean the kids wouldnt't have to be taken out of school for the Monday or else rush back straight after the race on Sunday, so still trying to do one other than Silverstone!

Hi, can i please join in with this?
I have 2 children to buy for, as well as my mum, 2 sisters, niece and a BIL.
I have already bought my niece her gift (necklace and earring, reduced from £80 down to £17 in argos clearence)
My 12 yr old wants either an iPod or Xbox (but understands it will be 2ndhand).
My 8 yr old wants everything ever invented!! He definitely wants a wii game called Mario Party 9.
My BIL loves James Martin cookery books.
So i am on a hunt for these things as cheap as possible. I am hunting on ebay for the iPod or Xbox, and will be keeping an eye out for stocking stuff, and everything cheap!0 -
Ive just been having a look at other posts/threads and The BookPeople have a great summer sale on. Books starting from £1. Found a few cookery books for people today.
Also been on amazon today and got the little one the Robbie the Reindeer box set for under £5. There was only 3 left so I thought I best grab it now.
Im just catching up with everyones posts. I used PNP last year and he loved it and watched it over and over again.
Just writing a list for his christmas eve hamper:
-pjs
-slipper (got them in the next sale for £3)
-christmas plate (£1 in homebargains last year)
-Santa needs a wee book
-hot chocolate
-sweets
-jigsaw
-cookies
-bath bombs for his xmas eve bath
-a thank you card to write to santa
I will be making one for me and the OH and always make a stocking for my mam as she is on her own so it cheers her up.PPI Claims won £3000:j now free of all credit card debt after 10 years.
Will I win my Lloyds battle!!!

Ha ha, I am a McLaren, Hamilton and Button fan (Hamilton is my favourite) and unfortunately I really don't like Ferrari and especially don't like Alonso! Even though I have to admit through very gritted teeth that he is a good driver...
I would definitely recommend Spa, it is a really lovely circuit amongst all of the trees. It was very friendly and good natured and there were lots of children there. We camped with Camping F1 and it was a good set up, you got breakfast and had the option of buying a token for an evening meal which was a good spread. We also got coach travel to and from the circuit with them. You're right we experienced all kinds of weather in Spa (at one point it was raining and thundering but sunny at the same time!) but it was still a great weekend despite this.:T
On a Christmas note I bought the 'Baby's 1st Christmas' sack from Mothercare to put our new nephew's presents in.0
