Happy birthday icemice :j hope you're having a lovely day.

I picked up my elf today (same one as you posted kayandy) had a quick skim as i had to hide it, think the book tells you that we're not allowed to touch the little fella - he's a bit more flimsy than i had thought though so probably best not to anyway!

I~ think im going to order dd1 the blackberry playbook on friday (providing its still in stock) as she is getting the phone for her birthday in november & this will go nicely - also getting her a titp ticket (well a voucher for)

And desperately trying to source one direction tickets but to noo avail :-( They only cost 32.50 new but stupid touts are selling them on at 100+ so not very money saving!

definately going to make them a xmas eve hamper this year - i wanted the fluffy jammies from next but im not paying £60 so think i shall wait until primark get some cute ones in

Love reading about what others partners are like at xmas - i cant complain about mine, i usually get spoiled (even though i HATE getting presents or asking for anything lol) what i would really love this year though is to do a stocking each as more thought will go into it.

Love the stockings & hessian sacks you have posted - thanks very much! I think im going to make the stockings as i have in my head what i want - may get the hessian sacks for the eve hamper

For my sisters she normally has some fashion jewelery make up jokey gift and DVD and some Other little bits!! Not to sure what to sure what to put into little brothers though he is 3 && loves Disney cars, pepper pig, knights, pirates && gardening! Any ideas would be welcome :)

stockings for this age are easy peasy!! You can get little peppa figures, little cars, knight figures (elc) the supermarket do pirate party themes so you can get pencils, pad, eye patch etc - perhaps a grow your own seed pot? Bubbles, chocolate coins, orange, £2 coin, dvd, toothbrush/paste, magic flannel, bath crayons/duck, flying aeroplane, my girls always get the splat figures you can stick t windows - the list is endless!

    Hi kayandy!
If your brother likes gardening you could try these seed sets from amazon.
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Early-Learning-Centre-Set-Seeds/dp/B006IT63BM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1346262081&sr=8-1
I picked one up for my twin nephews at £3 but they're now down to £1.35! Bargain! :)

Trying to live a good life on little money :T

For those buying for a sister, aunt, mam etc go to eyeslipsface*com they normally have great deals on like 20% off or free goodie bags. I recommend their pro brushes. Cosmetics are a great price and look very expensive as well as being good quality.
PPI Claims won £3000:j now free of all credit card debt after 10 years.

Part of the Furniture Photogenic Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
I asked last year but new thread/ new people thought it's worth another try.

I want a child-proof nativity scene. One they can play with. The fisher price would be ideal (but no longer available and would cost an arm and a let to buy the bits to make it). The playmobile one I'm not keen in.
Wood is ok but it has to be painted and nice (not just the front painted and naff looking). I've found this which is ok but still lacking....something.

So if anyone has any suggestions. I'm not looking at paying more then £25 including delivery unless it's amazing.

OHHHH Just seen these while hunting. although they can't play with them I think it's a FANTASTIC idea esp as my 3yr old is cracker obsessed.

I dont know if the Early Learning Centre still exists everywhere as I know the shop by me has closed, but my mum has bought a nativity set there in the past. It has a cardboard stable that has a few pieces that are child friendly to put together and then all the figures in plastic form including animals etc. If they still do them nearer the time they are fantastic, amazon did have something similar last year but I cant find it atm, I will keep looking! :o
