For some new ideas - have a look at the Facebook page

Not a craft page as such but scrolling through it - there are some really nice 'make-at-home ideas . . . . I really like the cute penguin made from an empty soft drink bottle:heartpuls The best things in life aren't things :heartpuls

Had to hide my disapointment yesterday when I managed to get Aladdin for £6 in bl0ckbuster and DS1 didn't want to watch it.
imo shes even better than Sophie Kinsella (who I love), if you read her books I'd recommend reading them in order, I Heart New York, then LA, Paris, Vegas and London in that order, she's so funny and her characters are fantastic, if you love the Shopaholic books you will love them. ALso if you haven't read any Paige Toon, Lucy In The Sky and Pictures of Lily are two of my favourite books ever0 -

i dont think ive read any of her madeline twickenhams though!
is lindsay kelk the one that writes the 'i heart new york/paris ec' series? because ive got a couple of my kindle which i havent got around to reading yetyes that's her! shes a fantastic writer, shes very funny and witty, and her characters are brilliant, read I Heart NY first as they go in order

My OH is a funny one, when it comes to my birthdays he's amazing - for the last 3 years I have been to the F1 in Spa once and Silverstone twice. I'm sorry I really don't mean it as a brag (honestly I really don't!) but I just wanted to share that he's very good with my birthdays as I love F1. As I turned 30 this year he also got me some lovely bits such as a Garmin watch (for when I ran the London marathon) and a spa day with my mum. But when it comes to Christmas he gets really stressed! We only buy each other little bits for Christmas but as he's a bit of a drama queen he flounces around the house getting all stressed about what he's going to buy me! He always ends up buying me lovely things so I don't know whay he gets like this, I think it may be because he knows i'm super organised and have usually got all of his already so he feels under pressure! Plus he usually only leaves himself about a week to get all of the pressies he needs to!
I think my planning ways may be rubbing off on him though as we were in the Card Factory the other day and he saw 7 birthdays cards for £1, so he said we had to buy them and keep them ready for people's birthdays! :T0 -
Oh poor you (and dd) it's horrible when you are looking forward to visiting somewhere and it turns out to be a disappointment.* Ebay- 1 Bag a Day *0
