Hope that helps!
Thanks WantToBeSE, I was looking at the tshirts as well and have also reserved a set with tshirt, belt and flask. Some good reductions there atm, but I had to draw the line then. Especially as I have to get DH to collect and pay for them!* Ebay- 1 Bag a Day *0 -

I want a child-proof nativity scene. One they can play with. The fisher price would be ideal (but no longer available and would cost an arm and a let to buy the bits to make it). The playmobile one I'm not keen in.
Wood is ok but it has to be painted and nice (not just the front painted and naff looking). I've found this which is ok but still lacking....something.
So if anyone has any suggestions. I'm not looking at paying more then £25 including delivery unless it's amazing.
OHHHH Just seen these while hunting. although they can't play with them I think it's a FANTASTIC idea esp as my 3yr old is cracker obsessed.
I have this East of India nativity set. The pieces are light balsa wood and they can be played with. I expect it's cheaper somewhere on ebay...

or this one is cheaper:

Sorry yes I didn't check the age of the children. The figures of the people would be OK but the animals, or at least the crib, too small I think.0 -
I am sure you have all seen it but if you haven't there is a thread on the Grabbit about 500 points when buying certain cheap perfumes in Boots. The 500 points is also added when buying certain body sprays at £2.50, so 500 points for a £2.50 spend. The sprays will also be good in hampers etc.0

Thank you to whoever posted about the Argos clearance sale - I spent half an hour going through everything in the sale at my local store and now have several things in my basket, only problem is the things aren't available for home delivery and I haven't got time to get there tomorrow after work so I'm gonna have to wait until midnight, then do a reservation then I should have til friday to collect.
Now if you live on the south coast no reserving Argos things until I've placed my reservation
Edit: you're free to shop again0 -
I love this thread! I too will not be having too high a budget for everyone this christmas due to my boyfriends 21st end of november and I've already gone a bit overboard!
I was going to get my mum an old board game off ebay which she looked for in toys r us and they didn't have it, she said she loved it when she was younger and wished she could still buy one (we play board games quite a lot even though we are all over 20 now).
My dad is the one I always struggle with, buying him a great shock of a present of slippers last year! I was thinking maybe a blu-ray player, you can pick them up pretty cheap now especially when they're on offer.
For nan, I was thinking a digital photo frame and sorting it out for her. She's 90 so hard to buy for, last year i got her a cushion with a teddy bear on it and a Vera Lynn CD (which i'm pretty sure she gave to the church)
I have 3 older brothers which again are a bit of a nightmare though I think I've settled to get them something small this year usually i spend around £30 but probably be reduced to £15 or £20 this year. I have 1 SIL so with them moving to London just recently I think I'm going to get her a pretty oyster card holder from accessorize and something small to add to it.
Just the boyfriend left to buy for then and he'll be having significantly less for christmas than his birthday! Last year we set a budget of £70 as it was our first one. I stuck to it (he didn't), got him a box and filled it with 6 items numbered from 1 - 6, in order of how he should open to lead up to a better present. Number 1 was a bag of percy pigs as he loves them, number 2 was a box of heroes as he's a huge fan of the tv show and i couldn't afford to buy him the box set, number 3 was some new headphones cos he lost his the same ones black gummy ones, number 4 was a CD he'd mentioned the band and that he didn't own an album, number 5 was how i met your mother series 1-2 which i picked up for £7 on the internet, number 6 was paco robanne cologne. This year I'll probably do something similar in such pack some presents together in a box.
I feel organised cos I've planned everything but not because I haven't started buying anything yet! Should be finished by mid october. Going to the Cologne christmas markets December 7th but mostly for the atmosphere. I can't wait.. the first christmas film was on TV today.0 -
I would love to go to a Christmas market abroad one year0
