OHHHH Just seen these while hunting. although they can't play with them I think it's a FANTASTIC idea esp as my 3yr old is cracker obsessed.

I saw last year they had gorgeous nativity sets in gltc - child friendly i think they were dearer than £25 but you get 15% off with mumsnet code and it looks like a lovely keepsake to bring out year after year. (this years christmas items haven't been published yet but probably will be next month)

I've also seen gorgeous knitted sets but can't remember where!

I'll keep a look out as i would love one too, so will let you know if i find any

thanks littlemiss. I did look last year in there and online but couldn't see one. I'd love to get the schleich one as the have a farm etc and animals and could use that but ohhh surprise.... discontinued.

my3girls i'm not keen on the knitted ones either (you know when you know EXACTLY what you are after and nothing else quite matches up to dream image :rotfl:).

Chicky if you have a Home Bargains near you, keep your eyes peeled for when their Christmas stock comes in. I got a lovely plastic Nativity scene last year so the kids could play with it as much as they wanted to and it wasn't very expensive either. It didn't look like it was cheap tat either lol
