I will catch up and post properly later but I would like some advice.

I have just written most of my Christmas cards but as I was putting them in the envelopes I noticed they say on the back "please recycle your cards throughout January 2006" would you still send them or is that taking mse a bit too far? OH and I have different opinions:D

I'm afraid I'm one of those people who looks at the back of the card (because I like to see where they've been bought from). However if I saw January 2006 I'd find it hilarious more than anything (in the nicest possible way) :D People should just be glad you've sent a card!

And a massive congratulations to Chirpy + hubby, so glad to hear from you :T

Yes it was- not the best of days unfortunately! It made the day more special when I was little, but not anymore.
Sorry to hear that yours wasn't great either, but Happy Birthday anyway, hope you soon feel better.

I have just had a look back and see that it was also carla marie's birthday yesterday and Feisty's on Friday so a belated Happy Birthday to you ladies as well

Nanamia-It will so exciting for them to receive stocking goodies in January, bonus gifts! And of course the most precious gift will be having you there. :) How are you getting on with your orange themed things? :)

Congratulations Chirpychick! Over the moon for you and Mr Chirpychick! :j I hope you have a magical first christmas together. :xmastree: So sorry it was a traumatic birth, you should be very proud of yourself. xxx

I hope everyone who is ill feels much better in time for Christmas Day and belated Happy Birthday to FeistyFidget, CarlaMarie, RosyGirl and bunbun. xxx

Finally found out that DS has to take biscuits to the class party on Friday, luckily I bought erm six tubs of gingerbread hearts from HB on Saturday so will ice those with DS on Thursday. :) Also going to give them as teachers gifts, iced with strawberry laces threaded through and put in lovely little green snowman containers. :)

  • Congratulations to the CHIRPY'S!! so pleased to hear you are all safe & well, take time to recover, enjoy little Franklin, and have a wonderful family christmas x

not really enjoying having to go to work this week, so many other christmassy things i could be doing, oh well, 4 more shifts to go !
It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.
  • Congrats Chirpy...wow, he was big, my DD was only 5lb12, so nearly half his weight! but she was 4 weeks early and my ds was still only 6lb 13 1/2, and was 2 week early.
Put your feet up and get some rest, ad the best piece of advice is sleep when he sleeps and forget the house work! xx
  • Many congratulations chirpychick - we have all been watching and waiting for this news! Try to get as much rest as you can, everything else will wait.
Looking forward to the photos. x

Hello Everyone - Hope all your Christmas plans are going well!!
    Not long to go now!

I am over the moon to announce that baby Franklin finally made his appearance 13 days overdue on 13/12/12 at 05:16 weighing in at a eye watering 10lb4!
It was a very traumatic birth :( both Mummy & Baby had difficulties but we both thankfully made it through in the end!

We are home (I discharged myself the same day, which in hindsight was a bad idea!!!) Franklin is thriving and is more amazing than I ever dreamed he would be. He has a huge mop of thick black hair, big blue eyes and little sticky out "elf ears" and gorgeous chubby red cheeks.

Im in lots of pain but my hubby is amazing :) he even managed to find me the £27 soap & glory set as an extra for under the tree

pictures will follow in a few days :)

    Congratulations! :D

Put your feet up now and enjoy being with your LO-what a great early xmas present :o He sounds adorable xx
