Oh let me know how that goes. I have thought about a fitness hamper for the new year and been looking at those for DS and myself. Already have healthy grocery delivery on order to kick start new year

DO IT! (sorry for caps but overly excited!) I have been a member of my fitness pal over a year (lost just under 3 stone so far which is good with thyroid problems and serious knee condition which will eventually lead to me getting a replacement!) and even within the few hours OH has been wearing it its made a difference already! We discovered OH is still eating too much even by mfp reccomendations, its tracked lastnight sleep pattern, its making OH already walk more just so the numbers increase (real mental thing lol) and can only see benefits for it. So much so Im bidding on one on ebay at the minute which ends today, Im determined to get one myself now!!

Very pleased and shocked to wake up and find had burnt 523 while sleeping!! Back again tomorrow morning, will prob kick up a fuss getting up early again but love it once ive done it lol

Im not very crafty minded (although I try to be!) but want to wish you good luck for the fete Im sure it will be great! What about hanging them from branches of those twig type trees?

    DONE

So naughty but what the heck, we've been saving money eating out of the freezer and emptying it so there will be just Christmas goodies and ready for new year health kick. So the money saved I have ordered two and it will be a tad of banter between DS and myself. Things are looking positive with a kick start. Thank you

Im glad I could help in some way I couldnt see a reason for you regretting your decision! Hopefully I win this one and have it within next few weeks, in the meantime Im really enjoying watching the tracker online for OH lol!! :T A quick text at lunch to remind OH not to be naughty and park the car 10 mins away from tescos tonight and walk the remainder seems to work ;)

Time. How can I be this organised and lack time?

I need to drop my daughter at kindergarten at 8.30 tomorrow. From there, I need to: rush into town to an appointment, meet some friends who are in town just for a few days for breakfast, go to the post office, the electronics store and several shops to try and find a wreath hook for my front door and some jiffy bags, rush over to a place that removes gel nails (I let a friend of mine practice applying them on me and they are not good), go to the Chinese supermarket and load up on frozen dim sum for Christmas morning breakfast, go home, collect my daughter, make four batches of biscotti dough and turn it into loaf shapes so it can rest, clean up the kitchen, update my Christmas grocery shop list, do some cleaning up in the pantry, make dinner, clean up the kitchen AGAIN, put on laundry, play with the child, pack bags for us going out on Saturday, put her to bed, sweep in the living room because pine needles, repair the sodding paper chains AGAIN, find some quality time to spend with DH and then fall asleep.

    *Phew*

I think we're having pasta and sauce from a jar for dinner... I might grate some parmesan onto it if they beg.

    Oh, and:

feed, wash, dress and brush the teeth of the child and myself before we leave the house.
pack the four parcels I need to post and remember to take them with me

I've finally put up some decorations today. The tree etc is still in the loft, but I got some lovely window stickers in Poundl@nd this morning, so they've gone up in my room. I probably won't bother with anything else, but they still make quite a nice display. :)

I also bought a couple more things. I can't help it. I bought a great hardback Armstrong & Miller book [£1 RRP £19.99] for my Mum, as she loves the series. I picked up my CDs from the post office - I got the BeeGees Mythology set, I Grew Up In The 60s and Robbie for £10 with the recent @sda glitch. Another £20 saved there. :)

When I got back, I watched Christmas24+. I have recorded a few off there in the past and watched them later [to fast forward through the ads] but I watched two today just because they were on lol. One was about 12 wishes. Quite badly acted [with a red haired lady who was in one of the later series of Sabrina The Teenage Witch lol] but still a bit of fun. The other was Santa Who, which I've seen before. :) Helped to put me in the mood.

I have yet another lesson observation and interview tomorrow. Got everything prepped and ready for it. Just need to decide on an outfit now... The school is further away from the others I've been to - will take 40 minutes if the traffic is low - but I think it is my last chance now for a January post. So, going to give it my best shot. From that [which should take around 2 hours - for both the lesson observation and then the interview], I need to drive almost back home again and go to work as I am on the afternoon/evening shift. It is going to be a bit of a long day, but hopefully it will be a positive one. :)
  • bloomin kids, for weeks dd (5) has insisted all she wants for xmas is lego & moshi monsters. ive been desperate to get her some "girly" stuff, but refused to waste money if she wouldnt play with it (she has got a dolls hair styling head as she loves hairdressing roleplay, but thats the only girly thing!). Today, after being at a friends for tea she came home & announced she wants a baby annabell, the same baby annabel i picked up in tesco for £22 earlier in the year, and forced myself to put back again. grrrr! Oh well, as dh reminded me, she's got some money for xmas (so she can go shopping like her big sisters) just hope she can afford to get herself the doll, cos i cant seem to find them for less than £40 now!
It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.
