Not sure if Mum is coming any more
The problem is that when you are polite to her, she thinks you are new best friends.
She has phoned me a least 6 times a day since she invited herself to Christmas dinner. And slowly my happyhas dwindled. This evening, on phone call 5 (2 in half an hour), she asked why I was also so grumpy. So I told her. Everything
You are an Alcoholic
You had a mastectomy last year because your drinking gave you cancer.
You got a second chance and have not taken it.
You will come crying to us when it comes back.
There are good loving Mums with cancer who would love to get the all clear and bring they kids up.
You talk carp all the time , telling us all how much you love us all. But you don't, you love your bottle more.
You are a selfish woman who doesn't care how her actions affect others.
At this point she put the phone down on me. So I phone her back and carried on my ramblings to her answering machine. I just couldn't stop.
I won't bore you with that bit.
I feel a lot better now. I am actually laughing as I type. It's not even funny, but I can't stop.
Wow - good for you! If you're anything like me then the words are constantly bubbling beneath the surface waiting to be unleashed! I can't tell you how many times i've ranted at my dad in my head, but never seem to find the courage in reality. I have said a fair few things to him in the past, but he gets very defensive. I find that upsetting as i've laid my emotions bare and he just doesn't want to know! Although I know deep down it upsets him but on the surface he just retaliates. I hope this has done you some good OMO - your mum probably knows these things deep down but it's quite shocking to hear someone spell it out, I do hope something in your words strikes a chord with her. x0 -
Hope the gym went well this morning weeclick and that you wee motivated!
I still haven't been this week and i'm going out for a three course Christmas lunch today.....:whistle:0 -
Hi Lovelies, sorry to butt in - having another fete meltdown
Will go back and catch up hopefully later.
Can any of you help, have 20 different necklaces that need to be displayed for the fete and I haven't a clue how to do it. I have a template for a card bust and was originally going to make those but have just found out space is restricted so this isn't going to work - any other suggestions? Needs to be cheap, and very easy to assemble/make as I'm running out of time
Thanking you all in advance! x[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Oh I doubt my words did anything. We are always being told 'This is me , if you don't like it f*** off' . I think the difference this time, is I don't care anymore.
(I am always telling her in my head aswell)FeistyFidget wrote: »Hi Lovelies, sorry to butt in - having another fete meltdownWill go back and catch up hopefully later.

I have seen jewellery displayed on a garden trellis painted white with small nails in it. It looked really good.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Have you got a Wilkinsons nearby? I bought a bag of normal width but extra tall tealights in our local store for melting Yankee tarts and they've been great:

They are out of stock on the website unfortunately so hope you have a store near you!
Thank you. I don't have one near me, but I will keep an eye out for something similar x:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
