Its awful lol. I used to go at 7am every weekday morning and do 30 mins plus see a personal trainer for an hour a week (that early because BF used to start work at 7am and I would get a lift in and the gym is only down the road from where I work - literally the other end of the street and so its handy) but BF started new job about 6 weeks ago and we have got so used to the extra hour in bed. So we started going at night, but in winter its not so easy you just want to go home and stick pjs on and the christmas tree lit. Have put foot down and said to BF this morning that from tomorrow morning we are getting up early again its the only way we will stick to it 100% plus its been a struggle to get free carparking in our usual spots and so have been paying out £6 a day to park so if we go early we are literally saving £30 a week too!

Such a good idea, if I was able to I would always exercise in the mornings as it's my best time of day. They gym is near my house, but i'm roughly a 40min drive from work so unless I get up at 5am every day I just don't have time to pop to the gym in the morning! Will have to carry on trying to drag myself there at night when my brain says I should be on the sofa under a blanket with pie and mash!0 -
I meant to share with you guys what a lovely surprise I had on Saturday morning - I was sat on the sofa at about 9am drinking a cup of tea when there was a knock at the door, it was the postman who handed me a box addressed to me. When I opened it there was a large bunch of seasonal flowers with gold painted leaves, a little reindeer teddy and a box of chocolates - my OH had it delivered to me as he knew I was going to spend the day putting the Christmas decs up and said it was to kick start my decorating! He was still in bed when it arrived but came down later looking pleased with himself then went off to play golf!
It was such a lovely surprise and really put me in a happy mood to put the decs up. Whilst he was out playing golf I had a lovely time with the Christmas music on decorating the tree etc, then when I finished I curled up on the sofa under a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and watched The Polar Express! Perfect. Then he came home grumpy because he'd played rubbish golf.....

Aaarrrrggggghhhhhhh!!!! I've lost all my Xmas spirit this week!! I've mentioned that my mil was living next door due to having her leg removed (she normally lives with me and bf as I moved in with them) well she is still living there but has brought it upon herself to come in everyday this week and clean etc even though I do it everyday and do scoring boards Etc once a week she goes over everything I do and then sits moaning about my bf to me fair enough he's her son but I don't want to listen to it haha ( bf has ADHD and aspergis and depression so dosnt really understand why things have to be done etc even though he's 23) anyways it's really started to annoy me and I don't know why!! She's now going on about moving to Wales next year after her lung appointment in June if its clear and leaving me and bf in this house (she owns it outright next year) but I'd rather buy my own house and she keeps going on about it even though I've told her I want to get my own house with bf etc we have been saving for about 2 years and really want to move out of this area! ! I don't know it's just really getting me down at the moment!! Don't get me wrong she's great and does a hell of a lot for us it's just sometimes she can be abit controlling!!
Sorry about that needed to get it off my chest haha
On another note I went shopping yesterday and got the sweets I needed so I'm pretty much done and everything wrapped woohoo!! And I'm looking after my little brother this afternoon (after school) so were going to do some xmasy crafts etcthat might help bring my spirit back!!

Hi guys,
I've tried searching but couldn't find anything, perhaps I was searching for the wrong thing, does anyone know how to make this box? Its gorgeous, fab and just what I need
Hi Steph
it's just a large cardboard box that I covered in A1 red card. then I cut strips of white A1 card and stuck them on.
The top bit is the cardboard box 'flaps' covered in pictures of popcorn that I printed from clipart, cut out and stuck on individually.
The tickets I designed in Publisher, printed and cut out then stuck on

This year I will have something that resembles a garden and not a building site!0 -
Hope everyone is well.
Regarding the santa's helper apron I brough Ds one with matching chef hat red wiht white writing from the 99p store a couple of weeks ago.
WeeClick: I REALLY recommend checking out Jillian Michaels DVDs on Amazon NO more trouble zones for a good weights session and Boost metobolism burn fat for a cardio workout (she has many other including 30 DS). These are amazing and I highly recommend them for those days you cant make it to the gym, I brought them last year and I have given up on the gym (I still have a Personal Trainer 2 a month same as what I was paying in monthly gym fees) and work out 5 times a week to these (+ 30 ds and ripped in 30) at home and I am deifnately more fitter and toned then ever (even before my wedding).0 -
I've been thinking about Chirpychick today and "our" 12-12-12 baby. Hope they are both comfy and he has put in an appearance.0

Where does everyone get their tea lights to use in a Yankee tart burner? I have Asda ones and they aren't hot enough to melt the wax. I'm wanting to use the one up that I have in it, so I can start burning my Xmas tarts.
I'm sure ikeas were pretty good, but my nearest store is 200 miles away x
Hi NicHave you got a Wilkinsons nearby? I bought a bag of normal width but extra tall tealights in our local store for melting Yankee tarts and they've been great:

They are out of stock on the website unfortunately so hope you have a store near you!DFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -

Well
Not sure if Mum is coming any more
The problem is that when you are polite to her, she thinks you are new best friends.
She has phoned me a least 6 times a day since she invited herself to Christmas dinner. And slowly my happyhas dwindled. This evening, on phone call 5 (2 in half an hour), she asked why I was also so grumpy. So I told her. Everything
You are an Alcoholic
You had a mastectomy last year because your drinking gave you cancer.
You got a second chance and have not taken it.
You will come crying to us when it comes back.
There are good loving Mums with cancer who would love to get the all clear and bring they kids up.
You talk carp all the time , telling us all how much you love us all. But you don't, you love your bottle more.
You are a selfish woman who doesn't care how her actions affect others.
At this point she put the phone down on me. So I phone her back and carried on my ramblings to her answering machine. I just couldn't stop.
I won't bore you with that bit.
I feel a lot better now. I am actually laughing as I type. It's not even funny, but I can't stop.0 -
omo - aw hun i know it must be horrid to have to spell everything out to her, but sometimes people need to hear the truth, and im sure getting it off your chest will make you feel a little better. I hope you manage to regain your christmas spirit & enjoy the season, with or without your mum being there!
come on chirpychick, PUUUUUUSH, i cant be the only one waiting anxiously for that first photo of our very own "let it snow" baby!!!It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0
