Chirpychick, wishing you lots of luck, I am sure you will be fine
Will be thinking of you
I think someone/thing is trying to destroy my Christmas spirit. My car door handle broke off earlier and as it's due it's MOT next week it is going to fail. I don't know what to doNeed the car for Christmas transport but cant justify spending lots on it (some of you may remember that I spent £700 on it last month)

You know when you have always wanted something, and when people ask, you don't know why ?
Well I got mine today :j:j:j:j
And I don't care if it is bad luck to leave Christmas decorations up. IT IS NOT COMING DOWN !!!!!!!!!!
It was £27.50 down from £55, as is has a small hole in the back of one of the antlers.
My lovely Dad gave me £100 today towards Christmas,(not sure if this is what he meant, but ha ho.:o)
I JUST LOVE IT :j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Also took a picture of my favorite biscuit tin ( I know, I know)
But it IS Fortnum and Mason !!! My favourite shop in whole world. It even has a Santa climbing in the top window.0 -

ETA Have turned over. He has just been killed with a pitch fork. There's no point watching it any more.0 -
OMO I need that in my life! IMO it isnt actually just for Christmas. I have wanted a silver version for ages and it didn't even cross my mind that it is classed as festive (they even had one decorating the set for the great british bakeoff in the summer!).
Enjoy him/her - are you going to give it a name?[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Evening all. Had a friend over for Christmas nibbles & drinks earlier. Those lasagne bites from Iceland aren't as nice as they sound or look, by the way! But the ice cream Christmas trees (3 in a box for £1) are tasty.
Anyway, she was asking if I'd seen an apron with 'santas little helper' on it. Anyone seen any about in the shops/online? eBay have some, but she's not keen on buying from there.
Isn't Christmas sneaking up fast now? I swear as soon as the tree goes up, time moves quicker!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

msgigglewick hope you manage to find your rabbit soon
I tried the Matalan reindeer cardigan on and whilst I love it don't think it looks right on me:( I am going to take it back and get the New Look reindeer hoodie instead. I am more of a hoodie person! I showed OH who said oh yes that's good but you do realise that ds2 won't want to be seen with you wearing that! He is singing in a concert at the Bowes museum on Sunday and I will wear it to that! i don't care anyway it's my birthday and i can do what I like:rotfl:saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

It is definitely a him. He is very stern and regal looking.
I have named him Greenleaf Benedict Peake, after my Gt Gt Grandfather.:rotfl:
( Luckily my Gt Grandfather was the second born and named George). ( There are still Greenleafs about )
I would have preferred silver, but beggars can't be choosers0
