ahhh cunning plan......will try that next time.
Just remembered (after fighting the paper) I wanted to 'hamper' them with some other bits anyway so utalising some of the large boxes Nappies come in.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
OMO I m so sorry to hear your fair did not go well. I hope you sell some of your things on facebook - they are really good. It's a shame when people aren't interested in your stall and just glance as they walk past, mine was a bit like that. that was so kind of your ds.
My OH has taken my leftover things to sell in the staff room but so far nothing...maybe my things are rubbish and I should give up making them:(
OH has been doing a car boot sale for the last few weeks, Wednesday, Sunday and occasionally Saturday. it is in a big warehouse so you can leave your things there but have to commit to selling regularly. He has never made great amounts of money but was covering the price of the table (Wednesdays were free) but the last two weeks hasn't even covered the price of the table. He decided enough was enough today and sold all he had eft to another stall holder for a great...£10. he said people just weren't coming in, most of what he sold was to other stall holders.
moneysavingmumofone thank you for posting the photos. I showed them to my ds who wished he could have gone!
I have just ordered some slippers for my OH from Debenhams (from the grabbit board). I was so excited when I found i could pay using my giftcard. My SIL gave me the giftcard last year for my birthday and although our nearest store is only about 45 minutes away its not somewhere we go so I thought I would lose it.
We had heavy snow Wednesday afternoon and evening. It had gone on the roads by the morning but we had black ice instead:( weeclick I agree it has gone even colder today
my boys watched nativity at their film club on tuesday. they weren't that keen on it but I am still going to make them watch it on TV:Dsaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

OMO, I would love to go to a craft fair and see a stall like yours. Everything looks lovely and really reasonably priced.:)0

I promised the girls pizza express after dance class and then realised tesco deals not valid in December. Grrr! I did win £5 paypal in the comp though. Any I squashed in a mystery shop and got some lovely shoes for DD2. So will get money back for that BUT...
real reason for our trip was to go on our annual Santa Train. It marks the start of our Xmas build up. Shame I need to blitz the house tomoz ready for laminate floor otherwise it would be 'bring it on'Don’t put it down - put it away!

selling anything is reallly slow at the moment (its not just you crafty types that are struggling).
I have never had so many NPB's on ebay and no-shows from localised selling sites.
i have now re-boxed and re-wrapped this hamper 3 times. then realised a gift tag from an internal pressie had come off and had to unwrap are re-do AGAIN. grrrrrrrrrrrr. still not happy with it but not wrapping it AGAIN.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

non-paying bidder. someone who 'buys' or wins an item but doesn't pay for it. i currently have a £20 item that the latest bought on a 'buy it now' a week ago. i wasted time working out courier postage, sent an invoice, sent a reminder and eventually yesterday could open a non-pay bidder strike. I can't resell it until either a) she pays b) ANOTHER week passes and I can cancel the transaction. :mad:loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. That is one of the reasons I have never sold anything on there. From what I have read on here, they do seem to always side with the buyer. I have also always been worried about feedback. Some people seem to leave negative for the smallest things.
On a slightly different subject, I still haven't joined Amazon. For some reason that also frightens me.:rotfl:0 -
On My Own sorry the fair didn't work out. Your stuff looks great and I hope the stuff sells on FB“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”
