Evening all.
Its been the first night in 6 days now that ive been able to eat real foodTo be fair, It didnt touch the sides :D
Got a call from the dentist today. He now is refusing to see me, Unless i come in next week for a chat - He's basically told me unless i have the sedation, He will NOT be removing the problem tooth. This has kind of gutted me, As it was a huge deal for me to even give the guy a call & have this work done...Now hes cancelled the appointment. I think fidgets idea of giving the PCT a call is now in order...
Anyways, Finally caught up on the thread - Your pictures of trees, presents & everything christmas look amazing!! You all deserve a
Will be putting mine up the weekend, With my tooth & other bits i havent focused on christmas, But now's the time to start!

Have had to skip few pages as phobic about dentists ((shudders)):rotfl:
but your decorations look amazing! I love being nosy so piccies are always good
Still not got my tree up ...it's manic at work this time of year so lots of extra hours (although as I'm salaried not lots of extra cash unfortunately). I've promised myself it will be up by the weekend!
On my day off at the weekend I went to a craft fair and was really disappointed. Very little in the way of home made crafts and tbh you lovely lot have made far better...may have to travel further afield I think:rotfl:
I did however start my wrapping ; think I should have started sooner after all!! I now have about 1sq foot clear to be able to access my bed LOL
I am definitley more Christmassy....singing xmas songs at work, in the car, at home..........driving everyone mad (especially as I'm tone deaf!)...think I may have a money making idea - they could pay me to stop!Stopped smoking 20th October 2012
This year I will have something that resembles a garden and not a building site!0 -

I looked on the Asda website but couldn't find them, did find them on the creamery hawes website for £9 though

I found them in asda earlier-well, the snowman one anyway. Ummmed & aaaahed for a while but didn't buy any in the end. For some reason (even though the photo clearly says what cheeses they are!) I had it in my head that it was Wensleydale with cranberries, which I love, but it's just plain Wensleydale, which is a bit dull(no offence intended to those who like it).
Anyway, they were in a special fridge at the end of the cheese aisle.Thank youBeen to doctor who thinks I could have glanular fever but I think hes being a bit OTT! Ive had ear ache for 3 weeks but the throat ache only came on yesterday really although I suppose my glands have been swollen for a while but still.......I phoned my manager to let her know what he said and I get the feeling she doesnt believe me
She said "well its strange you only complained about your ear ache" I had to point out Ive had a temp for over a week and literally couldnt sleep last night with the throat pain, Im probably over thinking it though and always see the worst in a situation when Im not well imagining managers swearing my name down cos Im not in work etc. OH even reckons Ive taken it the wrong way! Manager did say though that she doesnt want me coming in making others ill so need to see what the results are of the blood test and throat swab!
Gutted though most likely wont be going to our work xmas do. Its in a pub and the tablets Im on Im not allowed to drink will lose my deposit as well, its only £6 but its on principle lol I hate paying for something and then not getting anything for it / getting the benefit. oh well.
nothing else to report, a day infront of the sofa and pray the mouth swab comes back tomorrow and allows me back to work on Thursday otherwise I will be on a major guilt trip with more time off!
Get well soon, weeclick. Shame about missing your works Xmas do. I am missing my water aerobics class meal as I didn't realise they'd changed the date & I'm away now. The organiser was very kind & gave me back my deposit, which to be honest I could really do with at the moment. Every penny helps & all that...:rotfl:
Don't feel guilty about having to be off work, though. If you're ill, take as much time as you need to get well. If you try & work, you'll feel poorly for longer.Own_My_Own wrote: »Just dropped dd off at girls brigade. Popped in Tesco Express on the way home and got -

Thanks to all the girls in the Cross Stitch Cafe! You're all fantastic! :A0 -
I'm ridiculously overexcited for Christmas. I can see the snow falling now, and it's beautiful. It's a Wonderful Life, Elf, and The Muppets' Christmas Carol piled at the ready on top of the DVD player. Christmas spiced teas piled up in the caddy. Do your worst, winter. We, mankind, have thought up the perfect festival of warmth to combat you!0
