Were they in the cheese fridge? Did I really just ask that?

I'm on a train full of people and this just made me laugh out loud.

    :rotfl:
  • Gosh this afternoon has been frustrating! I had my lesson observation this morning, which I couldn't quite judge - everyone seemed engaged and we stayed on task, but it wasn't my 'best' lesson. Anyway, after that, I decided to go and pick up a copy of Dandy [for my father and my brother - both of whom used to read it] as it is the last printed edition this week. I thought it would be an easy task. Instead, I've been two three independent newsagents and two supermarkets to no avail. I've given up for today, as I am conscious of the petrol involved. It is annoying though - to waste so much time [as there is nothing to show for it]. :/

I was planning on starting [or restarting] my Christmas wrapping tonight. I think I might, as that'll put me in a better mood. :o

    It is here.

Just got a pm saying I had got a runners up prize in the Festive Fiver Comp.

Great I thought. It said 2 runners got £100 each.

I won a Martin Lewis signed copy of 'The Money Diet'

    What the ......?

ETA It seems I came 11th out of 50 winners

    Oh sorry Sugarspun.

My post does sound a little ungrateful, doesn't it.

I just got so excited at the thought of £100.

My Dad just told me the book will last longer :rotfl:

Also for the record your chocolate slab idea was one of my favourites! Very original! :)

:TCongrats to you both. There were a lot of entries (some very unoriginal ones too IMO) so you should both be really proud you made the grade:T:T

ETA: meeshpeesh which idea did you win with?

Congrats to those who won something....even if it wasn't what you hoped to win!
