Gosh this afternoon has been frustrating! I had my lesson observation this morning, which I couldn't quite judge - everyone seemed engaged and we stayed on task, but it wasn't my 'best' lesson. Anyway, after that, I decided to go and pick up a copy of Dandy [for my father and my brother - both of whom used to read it] as it is the last printed edition this week. I thought it would be an easy task. Instead, I've been two three independent newsagents and two supermarkets to no avail. I've given up for today, as I am conscious of the petrol involved. It is annoying though - to waste so much time [as there is nothing to show for it].
I was planning on starting [or restarting] my Christmas wrapping tonight. I think I might, as that'll put me in a better mood.0 -
Is it possible to be happy and sad at the same time ?:j:(:j:(

Just got a pm saying I had got a runners up prize in the Festive Fiver Comp.

:TCongrats to you both. There were a lot of entries (some very unoriginal ones too IMO) so you should both be really proud you made the grade:T:T
ETA: meeshpeesh which idea did you win with?0 -
Congrats to those who won something....even if it wasn't what you hoped to win!0
