Oh there was no need to delete it. Repost it .We don't care if it's upside down. Makes them turn their heads a little.0 -
Sugarspun-So sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope they can make him as pain free as possible and you can create many magical memories this Christmas. xxx
Princess-I found this website a while back, Im still not quite ready to go to the dentist! But it did help just to know theres others who are as terrified as me. http://www.dentalfearcentral.org/forum/forum.php It is a really good website with forums, advice and recommended dentists who are great with phobic patients. Its good to read reviews as Ive gone to a dentist before who was apparently good with phobic people (said it on their website!) and hes the one who laughed at me for crying!
OwnMyOwn-Ouch that sounded very painful for your DD! She was definitely very brave!
bunbun2-The Dr Who craft fair was great thanks, we were a bit late due to getting lost which was a shame as we missed some good characters! Bit smaller than I thought it would be too but still a very nice afternoon spent! One of the Daleks was very funny and kept picking on me cos I was wearing reindeer antlers. Will post some pics tomorrow, cant get photobucket to upload at the moment!
daisiegg-Gorgeous photos! Some are sideways and one is upside down, doesnt bother me lol but thought Id mention as you asked.Where is your wooden nativity from? Its lovely! Also great idea to display the cake stand with candy canes on, I saw a christmas cake stand in HB and resisted as I wouldnt get much use out of it but might grab it if I see it again!

I wasn't upside down for me, but if it was that might cause problems for people reading on tablets, as it will keep changing the orientation when you turn the screen...:rotfl:Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

So very sorry to hear about your dad SugarSpun, I know from experience what a simultaneously surreal and upsetting time it is. Don't let anything get in the way of doing what you all want to do from here on. There's nothing more important than the precious time you all have together so whether that's forgetting the housework/ditching work etc, live well and happy for as long as you have together! (Sorry to be preachy but when I found out about my dad I carried on working silly hours and trying to hold 'normality' together for everyone else, which was, in hindsight, absolutely bonkers.) And if this is your first time dealing with cancer, don't take anything as a given - they can relieve pretty much every ache/pain/symptom but you often have to ask (or demand in some cases!) More importantly though, huge hugs and do let us know if you need somewhere to unload.Snugglebunny8 wrote: »wow, your sis's mother in law sounds awful! whats wrong with a gentle request about the grandmother and the stairs rather than saying it like that! not suprised they have an uneasy relationship now!
They're as bad as each other now but the MiL was famously abrupt in the early days! Also noted for saying (a day after my sister gave birth) "Gosh it'll take you forever to lose THAT lot. I was practically concave the day after I gave birth" :rotfl:
I have to go away for a few days with work this week, I'm so grumpy about leaving my lovely decorated house and go and stay in a bleak hotel room! I might venture out though...just seen there's some Christmas markets nearby. It would be rude to not have a little look!0 -
