    Thanks Chicky :)

Have decided to buy some letter beads and offer a 'build a bracelet' kit for the fete. People/Children can then choose pretty beads to go with their name and I will string them on some ribbon bracelets (the type with metal crimp clasps at the end). I thought the leftovers would make a lovely gift for a little girl I need to get a Christmas present for too ;)

Hello *wave* where abouts in Durham was this? I live in Lanchester and love craft fairs but haven't seen any advertised! Did you go into town for the christmas market over the weekend?

    X

hello! the craft fair was in the institute opposite St oswalds church which is not very central. Apart from students not many people walk past and being on the same day as the christmas market meant that most people were in town. i am not sure where it was advertised, I didn't see any advertising beforehand. I did see some posters and fliers but not sure where they were put up/given out. I didn't go into town for the christmas market but I heard it was packed. did you go?

My OH works in consett and drove through Lanchester this evening (he went on the small back roads this morning and wished he hadn't because of the snow!) and said the lights were very pretty.

thank you to everyone for posting the fab photos of your trees. you all have beautiful houses and so tidy. I would have to spend a day moving all my clutter and tidying up before i could post mine. OH has said he would like a real tree this year so we will have to move things around to fit one in. Not sure if it a good idea with a cat and 18 month old dog. I love the cushions and was very tempted to buy one but it would have to be put out of reach of the dog so there didn't seem much point.

superspun I am sorry to hear about your dad.

snugglebunny I wasn't too sure about the interview this morning either

own my own hope your dd recovers quickly. good for you for pushing to be seen. I have to take my ds1 to the orthondists on thursday for an initial appointment. he doesnt do pain well despite the fact he has regular blood tests every 3 months.

princess hope you get your tooth sorted out - toothache is an awful pain

moneysavingmumofone I hope you and especially your ds enjoyed the dr who fair
