    Yay, another UU.

    5) Crabtree and Evelyn Rosewater Hand Therapy - I wouldn't buy this again as it is not rich enough for my dry skin. It's also stupidly expensive considering how quickly I got through the tube.

So far, 5 outs and 2 ins.

    Hi all,
Hope everyone is well, hugs to all that need them.
I've been MIA a bit recently, but been following the thread as usual.

Thanks for all the good wishes about my new job.
That's my first week done, and i'm really, really enjoying it :j As part of the work, I go out on site on occasion and stay away from home, perfect way to UU my collection of sachets!! (Take up less room, the room needed in my bag for warm clothes!)

One IN: Sure linen fresh deo- 150ml

    UU:
No7 eye make up remover 30ml- WIBA? Did an okay job, I prefer the Garnier one now.
Colgate advanced clean toothpaste sachet- Yes, toothpaste in a sachet!! Don't normally include toothpaste in my list as I don't stash this- but this was in my sachet collection. Nice enough.
Sanex 0% shower gel sachet- WIBA? Nice enough, prefer others though.
Nivea refreshing gel wash sachet- WIBA? Perhaps.
Lush melting snowman bath melt- WIBA? Ohh yes, love the scent of this. Hope they bring this back for Christmas time.

I also have some more spluttering items!

    Have a good weekend all.

I read earlier your comments on the P&P eye cream and also serums, a couple of weeks ago I heard someone, (Liz Earle) I think, suggest that the majority of women under a certain age do not need to use a serum, not sure but mid 30's seems to come to mind, so I had a little cast around, and although I could not find that reference I did find a few interesting bits and pieces, including the best way to apply serum:o

It made me wonder if some of the younger ones of our lovely group really need to use serums yet.

Its an interesting point, I honestly never thought to even bother trying a serum, just seemed like an extra unnecessary layer of skincare to me and probably that I was a little young at 33, however, I had a small tube of Protect & Perfect Intense serum from the Christmas No. 7 hat box that I thought to try in desperation after a nasty reaction to using facial scrub too often (oops...) and it honestly worked wonders. From then on I was a total convert.

Clinique freebie coming up for anyone that needs a new mascara :j

(I don't! I have a small drawer full of the blighters :rotfl:)

Swap your old mascara for a sample size of either High Impact Mascara or High Length Mascara.

The promotion is running from the 14th-20th May 2012 and is only at Debs.

I hope that this helps someone :)
Argh, I threw my last one away two weeks ago! (Although the one I am using now is not great)

Which Elemis products did the therapist use for your facial? I love the Lime Blosom Cleanser, Gentle Rose Exfoliator, Papaya Enzyme Peel and Pro Collagen Marine Cream. Wonder what she applied that made it oily.

    VALM -
I just checked and my facial consisted of the chamomile cleanser, soothing apricot toner, daily redness relief, SOS emergency cream and a mask but I'm not sure of it's name or the order in which the products were used :o Two days later and I've several little spots come out on my cheeks - not sure it it's the facial or TOTM though :o I was told that I need to use a toner but not an exfoliator as my skin is mega sensitive and also very dehydrated:(
Ins 2 x Samy 0 calorie thickening shampoo, it's got no SLS so hoping it will thicken my hair with out upsetting my scalp. I have long hair but it's so fine. I do keep thinking that as I get nearer to 4 0 that I should wear it shorter.

Alton - Please can you let me know how you get on with this shampoo as I'm always on the look out for thickening shampoos - although I need one without perfume (or a very mild perfume) :)

Thanks for the info re avon reps - I'm going to ask around at work (I cover several offices in Manchester which collectively has nearly 1000 staff so someone will know of one I'm sure ;)

Rosemary - The Cookie Question did make me laugh. I have passed it on to some of friends too.

Feeling better again today, my boss has been very reassuring and supportive, which has helped quail my :mad: from yesterday.

Also an update on my MIA toiletries; I have found one of my lipsticks at the bottom of a bag stored in another, ahem:(, bag cupboard. No sign of any of the others yet.

    3 GA's - 2 P & P eye creams and a Garnier Day Cream.

Re the topic of serums - I am 34 and have used a serum for the last few years. I quite like them (for the most part) and do see a difference if I haven't applied it. I do like to mix them up a bit as I do think my skin does get used to a certain one and isn't as effective them.

I also have almost UU an eye shadow. Put the sad news it is in my Hard Candy pallet. Still got some way to go before that will be a UU.

The only product I have used from that list is the SOS Emergency Cream and I still have a full sized bottle of it. I tend to use it when I have breakouts as it calms my skin right down.

After posting on here I went and had a little pamper session. Painted my nails. Am wearing $OPI How Cute Is That? Lovely peach colour. I was put off wearing peach for years because a work colleague commented that she didn't like it on me as it made my fingers look dirty. Well it doesn't! Then had a bath and applied my Decleor Herbal Clay Mask. Skin feels lovely and soft this am.

Maddiemay I read one of your articles posted re: serums. I only tend to use them if the moisturiser I use as night cream is not performing well. At the moment I'm using the Origins Brighter by Nature one and it's worked well on its own. This will be UUed today once I've cut the tube open. It's only a sample size anyway. It's interesting that the article says apply toner straight after the serum. When I tried the Melatogenine Force Collagen serum I got the best results when I used it on top of my moisturiser so was using it wrong!

Going to sit on the naughty step as I have an IN. Will be sitting there with smug look of satisfaction though as my quest to find a bottle of $OPI Metro Chic is over. Saw a bottle on ebay.co.uk last night and after checking the size of the bottle have ordered it this am.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    Sorry you are feeling YUK.

Would be interested to hear how you get on with the age spot stuff, I have loads on my hands and I too hate them:(

I had a look here http://www.jessica-nails.co.uk/ but could not find anything of use.
