Had a nosey at the Bamford oil - I agree £38.00 is expensive for a bath oil. Does anyone remember the old Boots Aromatherapy range. There was one that had geranimum in it and was gorgeous.

The dog bag looks very practical. Wish one of my neighbours had one. I see him every am when I'm walking to the bus stop walking back up the road swinging his little baggie full of poop. Lovely. x

I think I will see if I can find a cheaper alternative somewhere as its so lovely and relaxing.

The bog bags are very useful especially when you spend all day on the beach like we do. It also means you don't forget anything on long walks like the all important dog bowl. I think I will probably buy the one on the 2nd link as it seems more practical and its cheaper than the other one (which didn't last anyway).

Oh and DH has reminded me that he likes the Aloe Vera gel after walking all day in the sun (if we get any, keeping fingers crossed foe the weather), but think I'll buy this when we get there as its unlikely to be needed before holidays.

I am really pleased with myself. Yesterday I sorted out my toiletries for when I am going on holiday at the end of next week for 2 weeks. I haven't bought anything new but filled up lots of small pots with my full sized toiletries. Yay, it saves me money and space in the suitcase.

    Enjoy your Sunday.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
    Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j
  • Hurrah! Finally have my first UU of the month:

Boots Botanics relaxing body souffle - WBA - did the job for a good price (I think I got it free with a £5 off voucher some years ago - yes, another find from the deepest darkest corner of my stash). Found this to be very moisturising - my legs felt soft all day and no drying on my shins. Won't be getting a replacement just yet as still have plenty of body moisturisers in my stash but this is one I will be considering when I need to buy more.

I am resorting to a cotton bud on a few things to get the last little bits out so hope to report more UUs later next week. Have some INs as well from my birthday which was last Weds but waiting until after tomorrow to post them as meeting my BFF to exchange gifts at Bicester. I have a feeling she may have something lovely to add to my stash but also have some birthday money to spend there.

HappyTorty - earlier today I was thinking 'I wish I had a great big cupboard, like a larder but for toiletries...' :rotfl: On the whole I've organised things by type (using beauty boxes as they stack easily) but I would love to be able to see everything in one go. (Actually, I'd like to be able to hide everything in one go! :rotfl:) In an ideal world I would have shallow shelves and things organised by type and just the few products that I was using out, preferably on an elegant table. The reality is far from this! I have a basket of things that I'm targeting and it looks terrible but if I don't have it in sight I will forget to use things up...

I'd love some good storage suggestions. :)
i have a cupboard in my bedroom that I store items in,I put similar things e.g lippies in a make up bag,eye stuff in another and so on...i have lots of bags as GWPs that I don't need and find this an easy way to keep track of stuff:)

Is that the Emma Hardie serum, Rosemary? I see there's a TSV coming up soon on QVC featuring her products if anyone wanted to buy them again.

yes thta's the one, don't rate it and don't like the smell much:(is it me ar are creams getting stronger smells these days?
  • I've got a lovely set of drawers i got from Smiths that house all my makeup (apart from one palette that doesn't fit) and jewellry. Half my toiletries are in a set of plastic drawers up in my room and the ones i am using are in a plastic drawer in the bathroom. I also keep hand cream (i am never gonna run out of Hand Food), tea tree gel (spots :( ) and nivea creme in my bag at all times, along with deodorant, small bottles of perfume and dry shampoo for emergencies.

benefit porefessional mini - WNBA, i hate this. it makes my skin feel weird and seems to make my skin produce more oil than without it.
