I do wonder what they use in some of their skincare. The Protect and Perfect serum gave me a breakout the likes of which I have never seen before. I had spots on parts of my face that I have never had spots on before in my life! I have used serums from other brands with no problems.

That's really interesting as I absolutely love the P&P Intense serum but the day and night cream, particularly the night cream I think, made my skin react very badly. It was puffy, red and very irritated and sore which took a good week or so to clear.

Has anyone tried the L'Oreal Luminize serum? I did apply for some samples ages ago but alas they never arrived. My P&P serum is starting to splutter and I was wondering whether to try this instead as I noticed its on offer in Boots at the moment. Would love to hear anyone's opinions of these two vs each other or any recommendations for another mid range serum.

Just had my nails done, they are Claret and fairly short as I keep catching them lately and they've gone a little bendy so thought shorter was the way to go. Cheered me up after a stressful afternoon trying to finish work! :)

Just popping in to let you ladies know that I got my advantage points back with no trouble at all at the weekend after the assistant charged me twice :D

And as I've been good I treated myself to an Elemis facial - got to say that whilst my skin looked good afterwards it wasn't any better than I have achieved before with my mis-mash of products and it also felt quite greasy  - my cheeks also started to itch after a while too so whilst the assistant told me that it was all natural aromatherapy oils with no added perfumes etc it was still too strong for my delicate skin so back to the SD Vitamin E hot cloth cleanser I go :D (substitute warm for hot though :rotfl::rotfl:)

Please can someone advise me of the best way to order something from Avon so that I don't have to pay postage? I'm desperate for the Tahiti perfume after I found out it smells like coconut (my HG perfume was discontinued last year ) and whilst it's on offer the postage is almost as much as the bottle itself and I'm not aware of an Avon rep near me :(

    Many Thanks

It's so interesting about the P&P eye cream. I'm happy to know that I'm not going mad! :rotfl: It's almost like it was drying out my under-eye and that is why I could see lines. I'm not sure that I'm going to use it up now as the under-eye area is where I'm showing my age most! I've got about half my GWP size left (so about 4ml, though that would last me ages).

Hermia - your reaction to the P&P serum sounds awful! :( I didn't get on with it very well but I'm grateful that it didn't break me out. In my case I suspected that it was making my skin oily. It certainly didn't improve my skin. I was really disappointed as it's a wonder product for lots of people...

I have generous sample sizes of the day and night creams in my stash but they've just slide to the bottom of my Use Up list! :rotfl: They got put away as I was trying to use more natural products. They are in the box-of-mystery that I haven't listed yet as it's difficult to reach. :rotfl:

SuiDreams - you could always take the Balance Me eye cream that came in the Lux Box? It's quite a handy size :)

I think I may do. Think the No.7 one will end up as a GA, I have very dry skin, so dread to think it would do to my eyes.

Actually looking forward to getting rid of all my No.7 products now.

Ins 2 x Samy 0 calorie thickening shampoo, it's got no SLS so hoping it will thicken my hair with out upsetting my scalp. I have long hair but it's so fine. I do keep thinking that as I get nearer to 4 0 that I should wear it shorter.

Ins 2 x Palmers cleanser and moisturiser sachets and Kleenex anti shine sample packs. Got these at fenchurch station yesterday as they were giving them out, couldn't really say no!

Nothing much happening on the UU front.

Re the No 7 there was a time I would only buy it and stock up when they did gwp but I have also fallen out of love with it and do think it's overpriced for what it is. I do like the P&P stuff but like some of you it also brings me out in spots. An well it's a good excuse to try out other stuff!

If you get in contact with Avon themselves they will be able to put you in touch with a local rep. Not sure if you will get one in time for the perfume offer though, although reps can order one book back from the one they're currently on so that might bide you some time.

Not that I want to encourage you to spend more but if you spend £15.00 and put in code prima12 it gives free delivery (I just checked it and it does say free delivery).

The no7 eye cream did appear to make me more wrinkly, in fact, my eyes need serious replumping at the moment!

Has anyone got an answer for this? I'm using Expert eye cream and think its ok and I don't think my eyes look too bad. I am always careful to wear sunglasses on holoiday or whenever there's sun as I don't want lines through squinting.
I am happy report that my eye lines look better than friends at work who are the same age or younger than me :j but anything I can do to prevent them getting too many lines is good! :)
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.

I will do :) My first impression (last night) is that it isn't anything that special/unusual. I definitely had a better first impression of the Balance Me oil and the Decleor oil. It has a strong lavender scent, which isn't my favourite (although I do like the more herby scent of L'Occitane lavender, which is strange!) It is back in stock at Latest In Beauty for £2.50 for 5ml, just in case your curiousity gets the better of you :rotfl::

Obviously I'll test it for a few more nights and then I'll report back again :)

I won't be doing the mascara swap either but mainly because I'm unlikely to get to a Debs and I really don't need any more mascara! :rotfl:

No, can't be tempted. I have a bottle of Good Works oil to use.

I'm not doing the mascara swap either and not just for the reasons I mentioned - I actually don't have a spare full sized to swap.
Away for the weekend and there's free Molton Brown so will most definately be some INs next week:j

Where's the free Molton Brown then?

I would also love to know what anyone thinks about this. I use the normal Youth Code serum and love it, although I don't think it's magically making me look younger! I have the worst skin in the world and I am finding the Youth code day and night creams and serum the best skincare I have ever used (and I have tried a LOT).
