I have decided that if I have more outs than ins by the end of the month I will definitely buy the Benefit High Beem next month, if I don't manage this in may, then I cannot buy it.

Now that should be a good incentive for me to be good.

I personally eat my 5 a day & have recently changed from cow's to goats milk as well as cooking from scratch. I use supplements in addition to this so do not advocate vitamin/mineral for use by the sick & maintain cheaper versions of these things are perfectly good adequate for general use. As well as `eg sainsburys own label cold/flu capsules and other generic over the counter meds' sold in 99p shops and supermarkets nationwide - if they were `up to the job' they couldn't be sold legitimately - Martin will back me on this :money:

I have no dispute with what you say about cold/remedies, generic meds etc, I use them myself, but cannot agree with vits unless you are of course comparing like for like dosages from one shop to another. People like me who, because of medical conditions cannot absorb certain vits and minerals, we have to use optimum doses and the best absorbable types of vitamins and in the right balance, believe me I have spent many hours researching this and belong to organisations which deal only with my medical condition and follow their guidlines. We all have to provide for our own needs in the most economical way we can, but sometimes cheapest is not the way. What is best for my circumstances is not necessarily best for yours. I respect your opinion and it was good to debate with you:)

FAB Body Moisturiser, 56.7 g - WNBA, not sure it's any better than cheaper versions to be honest and a nightmare to get out of the bottle at the end as it was so thick! Nice soft skin though :)
Kleenex Facial Cloths x 30 - WNBA, absolutly pointless and so unenvironmentally friendly. will stick to my muslin cloths :)
Ellie Saab, Le Parfum, 1ml - WMBA, if not too expensive. Lovely sophisticated scent :)
Eve Lom Rescue Mask, 15ml - WNBA as too expensive...and absolutly stank. Im not sure im the biggest fan of clay masks!

I've been doing the Live Below the Line challenge too and have eaten far more than normal!
Brekky was going to be porridge and a Value orange but ended up being just the orange, as I got stuck into work.
Lunch was half a YS Value pizza and half a bag of YS salad, total cost 15p.
Tea - eaten very late cos I fell asleep after eating carbs at lunch, knew I would - was a fish fillet, 4 for a quid so 25p plus 10ps worth of HM jacket chips and half a tray of mushy peas. (30p)
Total cost for the day 88p plus approx 2p for milk in tea, which was the leftovers of a pack I got sent free to trial.

I have another uu to report

S&G face soap & clarity - wnba as I did not like the smell or texture of this product.

I also was stopped in my attempt to get some magazine freebies as wh smith has closed in Northern Ireland so no glamour freebie and our copy of red does not come with a freebie either :( suppose I do not need them but it is an easy way of trying some different products.

When I get home tonight I think I will make a list of products that I am going to concentrate on using up this month.

Glad people doing the food challenge are doing so well. I decided not to join in as my special dietary requirements mean that I can't eat cheap staples to pad out my meals. I have managed to eat slightly cheaper for the last week or so though, but thats maining due to lose some weight and cutting now on the amount I'm eating. Good luck to you all.

Good luck with the Live Under £1 a day challenge And, Kaz and Mad_Scientist. Sounds like you are all off to a good start.

I had an accident this morning that has resulted in a TA. I was in my ensuite this morning getting ready for work. I was putting the final touches to my face and was rushing about. I knocked my Clinique Blushing Nude lipstick off my very wide shelf and it hit off the sink and straight into the toilet .

It was only a week and a half into use so I am not amused. Serves me right for running late this morning. I must go to bed earlier so I can get out of bed in time in the morning.

Wel I WNBA as it didn't stay put and disappeared after half an hour of wearing.

    Sealed Pot Challenge No 038
  • Hi all - have to admit I've not read the last few pages, I go away for the weekend, come back and the thread's doubled!!!

2 x UU - a Per Una body milk that must have been in a gift set and an anatomicals body lotion that was also a gift. Both 50ml sizes. I've had these for ages and they were half used so decided to just slather them on and used about 10 times as much as I normally would in one go! WNBA as nothing special.

Did a bit of sorting out which mainly consisted separating things for the shower, things post shower, and make up. Trying to use all sample/gift sizes first and will then move onto big bottles. I have waaaay too much make up and don't use it every day. All is open though so can't give away or sell. Find it much harder to use up make up and I hate to throw away...

    Crazy Clothes Challenge # 103 - £84/£200 £30 Coat/£12 shirt/£23 jeans/£6 t-shirt/£13 2 x tops
Shoes £79/£100: Cowboy boots, canvas pumps, re-heal boots/ £25 safari shoes

I have the same problem, although I am trying to wear make up more often (but I still can't see me using anything up soon). I have split my open make up into use regularly and use less often (plus any open duplicates). I have then separated out all my unopened make up and I'm not allowed to touch this until I get some UU's.
