I have a UU and 2 x GAs to report:-
UU: 100ml bottle of Elemis Quiet Mind Elixir. WNBA. Was so underwhelmed by this product. Smelt no better than a bottle of Radox. I got this as part of a kit and I think it featured in the last Elemis TSV and was one of the reasons I didn't buy that.
Making up my friend's birthday/leaving present tonight so into the hamper will go :-
300ml bottle of L'occitane Extra Gentle Lotion for Hands and Body
Tube of Avoplex to Go.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

One IN and one OUT over the weekend:
IN - Rimmel Hide the Blemish concealer in Ivory. Partly a replacement as my other one has nearly run out, but also because I couldn't find the one I currently have open. But it's an amazing little product and it will get used.
OUT - Schwarzkopf Got2B Guardian Angel Heat Protection Spray. WBA as it smelt nice and made my hair feel nice and soft but also kept it properly straight. Not sure what to get next, will probably just see what's on offer in Boots and Superdrug."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -

Finally a UU for me!
Sephora Instant eye makeup remover - WBA, too bad I can't buy it locally. It's oil free and didn't irritate my eyes (huge bonus)No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

IN - Botanics Organic Face Rosewater Toner - I must admit I don't very often use a toner but have several cream based cleansers I want to UU from my original stash once the foaming one I'm using at the moment is finished, which I prefer, before I buy any more of those and I feel these will be better for my skin if I follow them up with a toner. This smells gorgeous and was a bargain £1.24 fro the clearance shelves - I think they're changing the Botanics packaging so may be a clearance feature across Boots generally - if there's any Botanics products you regularly use you might get them at a bargain price at the moment.
I use this toner and I really like it. I went to Boots today and saw a couple of the new packaging products but unfortunately nothing was reduced. It was 3for2 though.0 -
IN & an OUT.
UU - Palmer's Cocoa Butter lip balm. It broke this morning so I had to throw it away. Not sure if I WBA, don't think cocoa butter is my favourite lip balm scent.
IN - Burt's Bees Acai Berry lip balm, to replace the broken one. I like it very much so far, think its worth the £3.80 I paid for it.0 -
UU:
Sephora body lotion mini - WBA, i love this stuff. it sinks in really quickly and is a really light silky lotion. if only we had sephora over here!
I'm starting to get to the point where lots of my stash and in use is now full size so i think my UU will start to slow down. i have got some minis and travel sizes left but I've stashed them for my holidays in aug to stop me re-buying a load of travel sizes to take with me then!0 -
No, cannot agree with you here, not only do the quantities of the product (i.e. b12, b6 or whatever) vary from make to make, but the type of the vitamin/mineral and how well the body uses it differs greatly, e.g. natural as against synthetic forms. If you want just a general top up after a rubbish few weeks of eating, no problem, but if you have illness/deficiency it matters a lot.
I have read good things on Aldi and Lidle oral care too.
I personally eat my 5 a day & have recently changed from cow's to goats milk as well as cooking from scratch. I use supplements in addition to this so do not advocate vitamin/mineral for use by the sick & maintain cheaper versions of these things are perfectly good adequate for general use. As well as `eg sainsburys own label cold/flu capsules and other generic over the counter meds' sold in 99p shops and supermarkets nationwide - if they were `up to the job' they couldn't be sold legitimately - Martin will back me on this :money:0 -

I have also finished day one and have been hungry most of the dayI think I have all my meals covered for £5 but I have really noticed that I can't pick throughout the day like I normally do (this might do me some good in the long run though!)
I shall be relying heavily on value pasta and sauce to see me through the week. Good luck to you and DS!No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
