Fantastic news re the promotion, I really hope it gets things back on track for you. :D

Can recommend a Kindle thoroughly, I was treated to one at Christmas and absolutely love it, it goes everywhere with me.

I have chicken and I have bacon in the freezer, so I will take a look at that recipe for tomorrow, luckily the girls eat pretty much anything I put in front of them, so that could be a good idea without any thought from me !!

Sorry to hear the children are feeling poorly again, and in turn you as well. Not easy when you are on your own with sickly kids is it ? Did I read that you wont be able to go to the Event you were planning on attending at the weekend now ? x

    Hi DFW

You are so organised with christmas presents, I need to start buying a few stocking fillers if I see them in sales.

Yay to DH promotion and extra pounds.

I agree that kindles are amazing, I never read very much until I got one for my birthday and now I read all the time.

Hope you all feel better soon xxx

Great news on the promotion, but boo to you feeling rough. Hope it doesn't turn out to be anything much when you have to cope with the kids on your own. It always makes it ten times worse doesn't it.

We had a yummy chicken, basil spaghetti dish tonight, from a swartz packet so bit of a cheat but will buy it again.

:T I'd love a kindle too so maybe if i drop enough hints dh could buy me one with his pocket money :rotfl: (unlikely lol)

And no I don't think I can go now on Sunday :( I'm really disappointed. But DH not here, noone in their right minds would have my two kids together for long and i sooo don't fancy bringing them with me. So will have to forget it i think. :(

 thank you, I like to be organised because no matter how broke we are i refuse to buy the kids any less than what they got before LBM. This is probably a bad thing lol and i should teach them a lesson as in you can't ask for everything and get it every time...but they are only 2 & 3 and i feel bad lol so now everything has to be half price or better and so i do end up spending a lot less than before but they still get the same amount :o

Perhaps with DH's extra money i can start a kindle fund :rotfl: I know ds would love one too...do they ever do buy two get one free :rotfl::cool:

ack i am feeling worse by the min lol by eyes won't stay open so have been doing surveys to keep me awake  I clearly didn't think that one through every time i look at one i suddenly develop narcolepsy :rotfl:

And as for cheating...I am the queen of cheats. I refused point blank to make my own spag bol sauce like everyone else when i can get a jar of it for 29p :rotfl: makes no sense. And i care not what it tastes like, i hate cooking :p

  • Just done a quote on my car insurance even though it's not due yet. Just wanted a ball park figure so I could know if I could pay outright or would have to pay monthly and it looks like we *may* be able to figure in a way of paying for it outright :T ! £325 was the cheapest even with DH's fine and points (grrr) so hoping it doesn't go up in the next few months now!!! :D

WOW DFW, I am very inspired by your progress, the amount of debt that you have cleared already this year is amazing and making a start towards your Christmas presents is most impressive :)
