Big hugs for you for going through everything today. Hope DH comes home and you can both talk rationally about everything. I do think men stick their head in the sand when it comes to money. I know my hubby does. Doesn't even think that if a bill goes up it affects the budget and perhaps I would like to know about it. Forewarned and all that.

  • Ah thank you all *big hugs* :D he's not home for at least a week now so i'm going to text him once kids are in bed and see if he has changed his mind or not!

Piq, it took me 3 mins to list each item much quicker than ebay with the listing. I've only used gumtree once before but my item sold within an hour!

And as you can probably tell my hubby is the same eliza...a few of our bills have gone down and a couple went up (car expenses, clothes for kids etc) and he only seems to have paid attention to me telling him about the ones going down and as a result has now gone off on one! I swear he actually does think i have a hidden account with money stashed away (well actually i do- but its not as much as he thinks lol and it's for the whole family not my trip to the carribean with a mystery man!)

Well today to keep myself busy i have done:
    *4 washes
    *mopped kitchen floor
    *hoovered whole of downstairs
*cleaned front room (do i sound like a broken record yet!)
    *cleaned kids room
*locked away toys so kids can't get ALL of them out (eveil mummy muhwahahaha)
    *done dinner
    *washed up most plates
*cleaned sides in kitchen (dh likes to leave all sorts of carp on them)

    still need to
    *dry 2 washes
    *put all washes away
    *put washing up away
*mop floor AGAIN! !!!!!!!g rubbish muddy weather!!!
    *bath kids
    *kids to bed
    *collapse into my bed!

I expect some of this will carry on till tomorrow's list lol

SPeaking of tomorrow have decided to take kids to town in morning let them have a run around. See if i can get ear phones for my phone as downloaded a good meditation app and forgot i gave my earphones to ds1 for school *doh*. Also need to pop to argos to check price of something and said i would take kids to library for sing and rhyme as it is FREE and they enjoy it lol!

So today was NSD #2 of may ~YAY ~

Tomorrow won't be but Sunday should be.

Hmmmmmmmm think that is all for now :D

Oh yep Hubby listens when I tell him a bill has gone down but ignores the ones that have gone up. If I ever make the mistake of telling him how much I have managed to put away then he thinks it's the green light to takeaway city.

  • Morning :j

I've forgiven all of you who laughed at me falling into the [STRIKE]small stream[/STRIKE] Nile...i can actually laugh about it now :D Probably because Aunt Flo came to visit last night and i was instantly cheered up (strange that) :rotfl:

Eliza that is why i have a savings account and i round down each and every day so he always thinks we have slightly less than we do and the money gets put into savings for something other than an indian or a steak :rotfl:

welcome tatabubbly  (love the name) and thank you :)

I have just counted my cash and i have £12.34 left!! £3 more than i thought as i found some at bottom of my bag lol! yay! so can go into town and if kids want a little treat i can afford it knowing i will still have my cash for next week :) Must not spend over that amount though or i'll be so disappointed in myself having failed the cash task the first week in :o:rotfl:

No food is needed and dh not here so i can probably stretch it slightly further :)

I had a nice early night last night and feel much better today and hopefully i will be much calmer today having had af show up (sorry tmi but you know me warts and all i just can't seem to shut up typing :D)

will go see what i missed from all the night owls on here now on other diaries :rotfl:
