Hey slm you're right i suppose i don't really look at it from dh point of view he earns it all and i spend it all (albeit mostly on debt & bills!) and he gets a paltry amount to play with !
Well back from McDonalds & Home Bargains. £4 in Mcdonalds for me & ds which i thought was ok and then £16 in home bargains which i thought was good as I spent £7.30 on present & card for dd friend. Then also got cards for mums birthday (next week) and lots of other bits that were needed like pegs, kids wipes etc. I was very restrained and put back loads Could have probably done better but maybe next time lol
I now have £9.34 to last me until Monday Morning  can I do it!!!!?!!!
Have received in post today : a hand written letter from tenant telling me he is vacating on may 31st and thanking me for letting him stay!! bless him!
Also a statement from Aqua  our payment to them: £37.03 each month. Their interest on debt: £29.79. So each month we end up taking off around £7 Off the balance. I don't think we'll ever be free from it ! Both debts that refuse to cancel interest are DH's credit cards, this one and barclays. I've called & written to them begging to take it off and they refuse *idiots*
Anyway need a plan for rest of week lol so i don't spend any more than £9
Thursday: Coffee morning with friends= free.
Friday: Nothing planned as yet maybe a cleaning day
Saturday: Nothing planned. Will NOT go into town! If need food top up go to aldi
Sunday: DD going to party & not sure if i can go to the event i got free tickets for think dh has to work!
So need to do better next week. My goal is to get to friday next week with at least £15 lolMAY 2024 GOALS MFW #17 EF Goal 2 complete! EF total £1922! ~ NSD 7/15 ~ FOOD & TOILETRIES BUDGET £462.76 / £500 ~ MOP- 0/50

Already so organised for Xmas, what a great positive start to the new diary !!
I ahve the grand total of two Xmas presents, a smelly candle and a bottle of perfume. No idea who they are going to be for, but I suspect if I am feeling fed up sometime between now and Xmas, I may gift them to myself !! :rotfl:
Good luck with the dreaded toys !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

dreaded toys, sorted and put away some binned (on the sly of course kids would go nuts if they saw!) some charity shop bagged and some for sale
Kids are under the weather so i've made them sit down and chill out and watch Transformers with me they were running around hurting each other before and screaming every 2 seconds so i'm going to enjoy the peace before it breaks!
::::GOOD NEWS::::
DH has had his promotion and has been put on new wages from the 1st may i think. So should see some more money in the wages very soon :T !!
It's not official yet as they need to do it on parade (apparantly?) but paperwork, in and done and signed and pay for new rank is in
Am not calling the CCCS with this little gem, I am unsure as to whether I will actually have tenants next month so just want to play it by ear at the mo as to how wages will be split next. I'm praying there are lots of people wanting my house and so it will go immediately! we shall see though!
I have £100 in my emergency funds now, £738.67 in the savings fund & have paid of £2510 so far this year on the debt
Just imagine how much savings I could have had if I were not paying off debt!
Anyway i have some savoury rice cooking so best check it! Last pack of it so i can't burn it lol! Oh and roasted bacon & chicken tonight yummy!MAY 2024 GOALS MFW #17 EF Goal 2 complete! EF total £1922! ~ NSD 7/15 ~ FOOD & TOILETRIES BUDGET £462.76 / £500 ~ MOP- 0/50
