I am exactly the same lol! But i've allowed myself to go as i do need a birthday card & present and i'm only bringing cash! Same as today ;) so hopefully i will be ok!

Tomorrow i need to get to Town for the Gruffalo at the theatre. I have a NSD plan though ;) pick DD up from nursery @12pm, drive straight to same place that i parked the other day and walk into town (10 mins if i can get good spot 20 mins if bad spot !!) I will bring a packed lunch and they can sit in car and eat that, so long as we leave the car by half 12 ish we can get to town within time to get tickets from the counter, find seats, loo run for kids and then get out the free sweets i will have packed :p in time for the start! Sounds good, obviously all plans have holes, so we shall see lol! Oh and I must remember my debit card as i need to show that as proof i paid! And I am indeed me!

Cheese & Bacon Frittatas for dinner tonight :T Our meal plan was so tempting that we actually spent 20 mins debating what we should have! We thought we would go with this choice as kids feeling a bit under the weather and both LOVE cheese, egg & bacon! DH's steak & my sticky back ribs will just have to wait *boooooooo* :rotfl:

I receieved an email from my reiki teacher, she has another course running in September and i'd love to go but DH is away for 2 months i think, and it's in the evening! Such a shame could have given me something to do whilst ds2 was at nursery and dd was at school as i think i shall be at a loss without both of them! (even though i moan all the time i do love them honest :p:p)

Right I think it's time for a quick catch up on diaries, sleeping beauty is on, kids have popcorn and dh is upstairs on the x-box (he really works hard in this job can you tell)

Thanks to Been, I have just realised it is indeed a 5 week month (grr) lol so had to go quick have a look at the budget again  !

So if i take out £50 tomorrow to top up this week's money i think that this week we will be fine. Then every week for the rest of the month I will have £130  to last for food, petrol, entertainment etc etc etc

Hoping i can do this would really help my spreadsheet look healthy once more!

Dh is finally getting a LBM flickering on and off I think! Today he has asked why i am saving money if we are in so much debt. Whilst I find this a tad annoying as I've got my SOA right down to the nitty gritty whilst still allowing a small savings each month i take this as a good sign that he is starting to realise our financial situation. He is even suggesting selling the car. NOW whilst it makes sense to i have spent so much on it already and just bought a new tax disc & i have no way to get to DS1 each end of term (well apart from train and london underground which quite literally petrifies me) so not sure what to do. What would you do?????

I can recommend Zapper, I received a cheque from them this morning for nearly £38. If you have over 30 items they send a courier to pick up free of charge.

I'm going to sort out some more DVDs and books for them. They pay about the same as Music Magpie. MM are easier to do as you can get the free app if you have a smart phone and scan the barcodes in and get an instant price.

ahh well that idea was short-lived lol! I tried them because i had already tried MM and a few others (amazon trade in and can't remember others lol) about selling some books i have but they didn't want them either :( booooooo. they are specialist educational history type ones so don't really want to give them charity (considering my predicament with so much DEBT lol) but not sure where to go from here ......I have logged onto my ABE account and emailed a few shops local to me that say they are specialists in these areas bascially begging they give me something for them........just awaiting an email back now saying 'yes please we'll take them off your hands'

    :D

ETA: i can still try and get rid of dvds on there though ;)

    Morning all

Well i'm glad I had an early night last night, there was a huge thunderstorm and I hate them!! (scaredy cat!)

Today it is literally raining buckets out there and i've got to go out in a mo to take DD to nursery :( !

    This morning's jobs:
    * check bank as bills all due out today
    *check emails
    *check post
    *quick tidy up
*get sausage casserole ready to go in slow cooker
*make lunch for kids for theatre
*put casserole on at 11.50 just before i go out to get DD!

Oh and DH picked up the freeview box that we bought for my mums b-day present. it looks hardly used :T ! And still retails in shops for £130+ :T what a bargain! Now just to remind sisters to pay their share ;) !

Argh! What a nightmare, just had a phone call from the bloke who manages my property in Wales and they've had a court summons for unpaid council tax!!!! He is a student and was unaware that he had to take his exemption certificate down to the offices and prove he didn't have to pay. SO all the bills ave been going in to the address in MY name as they didn't even know he lived there, I am due in court IN WALES next week for 8 months unpaid council tax. GOD give me strength! It seems as property was in fact empty for few months I do have to actually pay some back :( not sure where that will come from we're absolutely broke :'( !!!

Anyway looking on the bright side I found out in time, i've called & now emailed their office and explained situation and hopefully it might be actually resolved now! They also sent letters to my old letting agents. NOW given how much business and money i've given them in the past you would have thought they could have just sent on the letters to my address but no they sent them all back to the council tax same as my tenant did so it looks like i've been avoiding paying. AND breathe................................................

Sorry for rant lol feel bit better now ;)
