Brilliant news :j:j So pleased for you.
Although I can't stop singing a version of The Grand Old Duke of York,
And when she was up she was up
And when she was down she was down
And when she was almost half way up
She was neither up nor down :rotfl:
(But she had an extra £116 a month to play with) Xx

When DH moved out briefly last summer I wasn't entitled to any HB or CTB and it scares me that he's going to leave and we'll be without anythingI'm really hoping I can get him to stay for another year, sign off earliest next July and we can move the following July. I think he's making noises at work about leaving so they offer him somewhere else personally, but he's not said this to me. And if they do move him elsewhere in the country i'm still in the dilemma of moving DS1
argh!! So I will chat to him and see what is what....
If you tried to get HB for the property you are in now you would not have been entitled but you would have been entitled if you had private rented elsewhere.
The problem is that some HB/CTB assessors are useless and don't have a clue - do you know why they said no?debtfreewannabe321 wrote: »Payday tomorrow. SHE hasn't paid  boy will she get my wrath today. I called her 3 times yesterday as I couldn't get a signal to text and it was ignored. I'm going out later so may text her then...I need to pop to m@talan as my order is in :T I have shoes to wear now if it's raining. How exciting. *cough cough* I also ordered a bread maker last night after a few glasses of wine *cough*:o:o:o
Right.....I am going to get tough now:eek:
You must contact the council in her area again and this time go through with having the HB paid direct to you - once again she is late with the rent and it plays havoc with your budget and then you start dipping in other pots of money and then when she eventually pays you have to remember to pay it back.
You don't need this stress!!
Start thinking about yourself for once
And on that subject get yourself to the doctor about your back!!
(Sorry that was quite tough!!)0 -
Forgot to say Woo-Hoo to being a few steps from debt freedom

:j:jFab news about you almost being debt free, must be a wonderful feeling. DON'T YOU DARE STOP POSTING
I'm seconding what EE has said,
1) Get yourself to the blinking doctors about your back, ring them up today and make an appointment.
2) Ring council about your tenant and sort the housing benefit out, get it paid straight to you, do it today after you have rang the docs.
Don't think I have anything else to tell you off about, will be back later to check0
