  • Harrass her for the money even if its not the full amount agree some installments because this is ridiculous.

Sorry you are feeling money stress lovely. x
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Thanks Briz, I feel harsh sometimes then I think she is probably has more disposable income than me (assuming she has no debt) she only pays £525 a month rent. Most of this is paid by HB, her CT is paid for she gets JSA, bursarys from uni, loans from uni (ok so she's not DF but still...) and I believe she gets maintenance from ex for son. So all in all i am the pauper and not the other way round. So i will p1ss and moan as much as I like ;)

Sorry to hear the children are poorly - hope they feel better really quickly. I would get in contact with tennant and ask for the money to come straight to you from HB like another reader said - taking the mickey now. Perhaps tell her the house is going to be repossessed by mortgage people if you dont pay so she NEEDS to pay or she will have no chance of staying. If she is struggling to pay one month how on earth will she find the money for all the months she has missed?

  • Hi :)

Well, today I took DD to another ballet class (nearer and cheaper) and she refused to join in. I don't know whether it's because she wasn't well yesterday or if she genuinely didn't like the class atmosphere (it was a very big room and quite a large class) so not going back there :(! She said she'd like to do the class that she did last week again but only if her brother can do it (DS2) to which he piped up and said yes please! So that's the more expensive class times by two fees now! Argh! Told DH and DS1 they can only do one class a week atm till we're a bit better with the money situation and they were ok with it. God budgeting is hard. I hate being the bearer of bad news each and every time!

I emailed my tenant this morning. I've put together a total of receipts when she has paid me since last year and also how much each month. There have been 3 months where she paid nothing. 3 months where less than half the rent was paid and she owes me on the 25th of this month, £1450 (or thereabouts) so even if she does pay me the grand she has promised she is still short of £450  A friend has suggested I just get rid as even if she pays this time she will continue to mess me around as she knows she can. I've basically said in the email pay me or I will start eviction proceedings. I hope it doesn't come to this :(!

Weather is urgh, (read that as not sunny, not raining, not grey, an in between weather where I daren't hang the washing out!)

I need to do lots of washing and i've nowhere to hang it to dry (airers full the the brim!). DH has taken kids to the zoo and i'm chilling, probably supposed to clean something, ya know make an effort but i am really not in the mood!

I think i'm going to get some chocolate, a hot cup of tea and watch the apprentice or something and snap out of my bad mood! :D
