Oh lordy i feel so ill
got hot water bottle on tummy, i've been sick and was hoping i'd instantly feel better but i don't. dh can't make it home to take ds2 to nursery so i have to take him -am hoping i'm not sick again on the way
would let him have the day off but it's school pics today!
Thanks to Slm i've ordered some free train vouchers to use with redspotted hanky (via martin's email which i rarely read:o) I ordered 3 x £5 worth which I think you have to use at different times but will read info when feeling bit more with it. Also ordered £40 of pizz@ express vouchers via clubcard exchange :T £10 off my voucher balance and I have £17.50 left I think and couldn't decide what else to get....not sure if the cinema vouchers are worth it? Suppose it's a day out though and for free.....hmm may go back and see if i have enough to get one for everyone.
I've also got some free trainers & school shoes in the next size up for ds2 :T a lady was giving them away and I got in first luckily ;)will pick them up tomorrow. She says they are well worn but I don't care as ds2 is so heavy footed after wearing new shoes for a day they look like they're a year old! Both a clarks too :T
Anyway i'm sure i'll be back on later as proper feeling sorry for myself and not moving off the sofa! Thank gawd I tidied and cleaned yesterday!

Glad i could help - i too have been feeling poorly since last night so like you dont plan on moving too far from sofa. DD has 1 spot on her face (currently waiting for chicken pox as its going around) so will wait and see if more suddenly appear. Do the tesco vouchers say how long they are valid for - wondering if i could get some pizza ones for a summer holiday treat?Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

As far as i can see the pizza express has no date? If it does it's a long one as it doesn't state it on there. I hope it's valid for a while as I'm also planning on using it for a summer treatYou have to pay for drinks i think but i've ordered £40 of food vouchers :T
I've also just ordered 1 adult, 3 child odeon tickets. I didn't have enough for 2 adults BUT just checked my odeon card and i have 960 points so enough for a free adult ticket :T so that is another summer treat sorted- the odeon tickets are valid up to 31st august so plenty of time to use in holidays :j
Thats 2 days sorted out now to try and sort the other 5 weeks and 5 days :cool:MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Thank you DFW for sharing your recipes. I am going to collect the ingredients over my next few shops and have a go. Will have to save the bottles I have at the minute.

Oh i didn't look at menu but if you go on their website I bet there is a menu somewhere. My kids will pretty much eat anything so pizza is a winner here :jSkint_but_Optimistic wrote: »illness and bad weather. How pants. Take care and keep warm and take a sick bag x
Thanks skint, it is freezing but i'm not caving to the heating. My dd has already jumped up £30 A monththanks to the stupidly long cold winter! Extra jumper for me and i'm driving round to the nursery even though it is a 5 min walk
really not up to the rain/wind/sore tummy (i'm a wimp)

Oh i forgot to say yesterday, that i was watching superscrimpers whilst cleaning and one of the old ladies on there uses the same 'all purpose spray' as me :T it's great for cleaning mirrors/bathroom/kitchen/ whatever
All purpose spray:
need- 1 spray bottle (again i recycled one of my old ones), vinegar, water, tea tree oil.
I put 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water and 6 drops of tea tree oil. Mix it up and it's ready to go. Much cheaper than flash/mr muscle and just as good. Tea tree is antibacterial so helps to kill any germs.
I made a toilet cleaner the same but I added 1 tsp of baking soda to it also and some lemon essential oil (smell nice!) and give it a good shake before each use.
Nearly all my old cleaners have been replaced now slowly but surelythe last month of shopping i've not had to go down the cleaning aisle, the bread aisle or the toilet roll aisle (bulk bought from @mazon) I just need some chickens, a cow and an orchard and veg patch and i'm all set to be self-sufficient :rotfl::rotfl:
