Hello :j
Well DS1 loved kung fu on Thursday :T and the army cadets did a back track and told him that he could in fact join straight away and didn't need to go on a waiting list as he already knew how to do basic drill, and whatever else everyone else has learned this year. Sending him to military school has put him in the good books already it seems! So now we have a bit of a dilemma in that both classes/hobbies run at the same time of the week (being thurs eve) so i've asked dh to look for another kung fu class to send him to so he can go to both things
DD went to ballet this morning and loved it :T i'm thinking of trying another ballet school though before deciding as it's quite expensive and i've since seen some cheaper. Considering I need to buy her an outfit and stuff yet I want to keep costs down:money:
I made some more washing powder yesterday so have enough for a while now. I also spent some money since last being on here, on cards for mum a small pressie from kids and wrapping paper and then today on Mcd's for the kids (they wanted to go to an ice-cream shop and as far as I know we haven't got one so i drove there instead :rotfl:)
Took the dog for a walk this morning and all the blue bells were out, they are lovely when they are all over blanketing the groundI keep asking dh about his bonus due in July because I can see him changing his mind about spending it on carp. I've told him that we can clear his BC and the only debt charging interest with it (about 20 times so it sinks in) and he's on board....so far.....
I'm off to my mums tomorrow to see her for her birthday i hope she's up for visitors though as apparantly she's not been well (she didn't tell me my sister did) and i've told her we are going up next week not tomorrow so it will be a surprise :T petrol is in the car already just need to pay for toll on road and takeout at mums for dinner tomorrow (will split with my sister as a treat for mum) :AMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. Just done the te$co shop online to be delivered Monday afternoon/evening. I had a voucher for £20 off a £40 shop :T So have stocked up on some bits and got the fresh stuff in. I only really needed around £20 of stuff, and this is all I had in my basket, but had to make it up so doubled up on all the offers we regularly use and then ended up spending £60  :rotfl: with the £20 off though it's £40.99 :rotfl: really good as everything I bought was half price or better (aside from the fresh fruit/veg/eggs etc) :T am slowly building up a small stock cupboard again :T the hoarder in me is excited by this
:rotfl:

Hey DFW321, hope you don't mind me popping over to your diary.:) Your entries make me smile and your kids sound just like mine!
Your pictures are fab - loving you doggie! I got a new camera for my birthday and love it. I always use the sporting setting (the one that takes about 20 pictures in one go) as I figure I should at least get 1 half-decent picture out of them. Having said this, DD1 (age 6) is incapable of producing a 'natural' smile and produces the most God-awful grimace every time I try to take her photo. Have to catch her unawares now.:)Loan 1 11,840 Loan 2 8487 Total 20327

 Morning Harri-bear
Of course I don't mind this df journey can be pretty lonely and boring sometimes always good to have someone to natter to :rotfl: I've got a camera (i'd love one of those huge weights around your neck type ones that all the japanese carry) and it's ok but I still don't really know how to use it. I think I get the settings just right and then the next time i use it it's back to square one.....the last time this happened I went all scooby doo and actually took the sim card out to see what pics had been taken in between mine (i'm bad and usually only take it out once it's full memory and 16gb is hard to fill up :rotfl:) Think I found my answer in the pictures, there was lots of floor, dog parts and the neighbours kids.....so one of my darling children had stolen it and took the pics and put it back. And in the process they mess the setting up everytime! I give up:rotfl: As for kids smiling, DS1 must think he is going to spontaneosly combust the way he avoids it, DD thinks she is Kate Moss, DS2 thinks the idea is to always have your tongue poking out and eyes rolling at the back of your headSkint_but_Optimistic wrote: »Love the doggy. Morning SkintI thought I should put a pic up of Duke and show you all how big he is now (well actually he isn't very big at all, in fact my mums cats are bigger than him
) and now I know how to put pics on here there may be no stopping me (if i can be bothered to ever get card out of camera again to upload pics that is......)
