It's Sunday!
My day of rest (supposedly) i've been up since 6 thanks to hubby being a noisy twunk getting ready for work. I suppose I should be grateful I haven't got to go to work and do a boring duty for 24 hoursInstead i'm off to my mummy's house today as i'm going to surprise her :j:j thought I would make a cake only whoever did the drying up and putting away has lost half of my food processor! One culprit is passed out (ds1 sleeps like the dead) and the other has disappeared to work. Bah. May have to do it by hand! I know, I know, very unorganised considering her birthday is today
but in my defense it is only a bannoffee pie I can usually whip one up in 15 mins :rotfl: but minus one piece of the food processor and I go into a mad frenzy and panic
I've remembered the t-shirts today that I bought in February for my nephews for Easter. I forgot to bring them at Easter and so am bringing them nowi'm very forgetful
I once forgot one of their birthday presents by 6 months once so that when I did in fact remember it it was brought alongside their christmas present
(his birthday is early June
)
Right anyway i've had my tea and toast so no excuse to be on here anymore  have a good day all and I will catch up later or tomorrow with you all :T:j

Morning all :j
What a day yesterday I'm exhausted todayIt was pretty funny really, i'd said to my sister I'd meet her outside mum's house and we'd go in together and surprise her. Well we got there 5-10 mins before my sister and sat in the car opposite her house (couldn't get a space right outside- luckily) well surprise was on us as mum comes out to do her recycling and is stood only yards in front of us! I quickly told the kids to duck down so all 4 of us were scooched down in the car hiding :rotfl: 3 people walked past and gave us odd looks but we stayed put! She eventually went back in just as my sister was coming round the corner!!! I thought she must have seen us but when we went in, presents in arms, she did look shocked! So even if she did she kept it secret :rotfl:
I made her a banoffee pie whilst there so it was fresh and bought take outs (me and sister went halves) so definitely a spendy day!
Whilst I was there I also managed to get tummy cramps so bad I thought I was in labourthought it must be IBS but had a tablet and it didn't go! Turns out all these early nights i've been having, exhaustion and headaches were just the start of a bug! Bleurgh. DS2 has come down with it also today. Poor little man had to be woken up from sleep this morning (this never happens) and looks so tired. He's also got a temperature (i managed to miss that bit!) So we're tucked up on the sofa and he is drawing on my phone whilst i'm on here and we've got Sp1derman on in the background (have seen it a gazillion times!).
I'm supposed to be going out this evening to a friend's house to paint some furniture and i don't want to put it off anymore but i'm shattered! Also supposed to be back at the gym lol and not sure I want to do that either
A few bills have gone out of my bank this morning including the te$co shop so i need to do some money transfers from accounts that the money was supposed to come from.
This morning I bought 5 dresses from a sale site (local one on fb) for DD. A few had a tiny stains on but nothing too noticeable. They're currently in the washing machine on a hot-ish wash to clean them, but it saves me money on full price dresses for the summer :T So hoping just to get her a few more bits and she is done nowBeen looking for ds1 but nothing suitable. He's in between mens sizes and teenagers sizes so i think it might be best to just let him have some money in pr1marni and let him choose (he is so fussy too!! I remember him telling me when he was 2 that he wouldn't wear a jumper because it was horrible....he's been difficult/stubborn with clothes ever since :rotfl:)
Anyway i'll have a mooch around on the diaries for a while now to see what everyone is up to....it's been busy since I was last on my diary dropped all the way down 2 pages (perhaps I have too many subscriptions :rotfl:) :AMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. Well, DS2 is off nursery. Funnily enough he's perked up since feigning illness  hmmm. Fell for that one didn't I, didn't think 3 year olds were so cunning. I should know this by now he's the third 3 year old i've had :rotfl:
No gym.
Made another batch of washing up liquid. Got 4 from the net and kind of jumbled them altogether and made my own versionit's cooling off now so will put it to the test in a bit (cut back on the soap flakes this time and upped the vinegar).
Also made some environmentally friendly toilet cleaner. Haven't used bleach for over a month now :T and my loo is clean but putting baking soda down it everyday + vinegar was becoming a real chore. Then making sure people left it alone for an hour even more of a chore! I've opted for a spray on cleaner this time so will let you know if it works (main ingredients vinegar- my trusty old friend and baking soda)
1 wash out and dry nearly. So glad I ignored the weather man (he's renowned for letting me down anyway) it's not sunny but it most definitely is not raining! Nice and blowy so the washing will dry quick! Another load is in atm and i'm hoping the wash finishes soon so I can get it pegged out. The grey cloud is looming overhead and I don't want to have to eat my words about the weatherman
My tummy ache has returnedso sore. I've not eaten much today though so I think I may just starve it out (even though the shopping is due later with lots of goodies ). Perhaps i'll make some hot lemon and honey I know it's for sore throats but it tastes good and reminds me of a big hug, a little bit of tlc when you're not feeling too well
My kettle is currently de-scaling with the last of my oust descaler! I love that stuff but in the name of doing everything green (well as much as I can) i will be returning to white vinegar to de-scale it from now on!
P.S does anyone know where I can buy white vinegar and baking soda in bulk :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. I went to a local shop and bought soda crystals, borax, laundry whitening powder and bicarbonate of soda in bulk (1 or half kg boxes) and the woman behind the counter said "I hope you arent making a bomb!"
I think sugar would be needed to make a bomb mind you.Trying to shift that debt!0 -

My DD is the same - she is now 10 and says she cannot wear second hand clothes :rotfl::mad:
We have a clothes places here like a 50/50 so all the items are really nice and they have loads of them - lovely set up, nice and spacious - I had to try and convince DD that it was a class above charity shops :rotfl:0 -
Awwww what a cutie your puppy is! We have a lovely 8 year old labrador called Max and the kids absolutely adore him. Hes a good boy, more obedient than DH and the kids!!!
Hope the washing up liquid turns out well xxMummytogirls x0 -
