Like the bread making DFW..we didn't buy a loaf for over 2 months after buying a 25kg sack of organic flour costing about £22...but have slipped since...when taking into account heating etc wasn't sure how much cheaper it was. Must do the Maths but even if it wasnt a huge saving the convenience of it was truly excellent..never ran out of bread! Just put the BM on!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

We go through around 3-4 loaves a week here with 4 people eating sandwiches each lunch time plus breakfast (toast) and other snacks (mainly ds1 and dh here!) so I just thought I would try it for a while and see if it's better to make at home. Unfortunately we haven't got a bread makerI really want one and keep asking dh if we can have one
i'm too lazy to do it by hand all the time! Where did you buy your bread flour from?

Morning :j
Well the weather man lied, it didn't rain during the night so i could have hung out my washing!!!! Instead it was all over the house this morning still half damp! Just hung a new load out (where does it all come from, how did people survive before washing machines ???!) and it's all ds1 bedding. So all beds done for now! AND washing basket is empty  I have half a load in the machine and will wait till kids get home and whip their uniforms off and straight in there and it should be clean and dried for morning!
DS1 has his kung fu lesson tonight and I got a friend to print off the free lesson voucher for me :T so that's all ready. I'm very tired today and I keep having disturbed sleep so this afternoon I am dropping ds2 off at nursery and coming home for a naphas to be some advantages to being a full time mummy eh, siestas whenever needed
Not a nsd, had to pay for breakfast this morning. Wasn't going to have one but everyone else was so I felt left out and joined in£3.50....!
A friend of a friend was telling me about her son today. He's under the local mental health team and has someone visiting him everyday atm, he had a breakdown last week. All because he couldn't work enough hours to keep on top of his debt24 years old and down in the dumps about money. It's heartbreaking. I really hope that my son gets a well paid job and is careful with money after all i've been through you'd hope he's seen how hard it is and goes down a different path so many other youngsters (credit card, high life every weekend....) but we'll see.
Talking of my ds1 we had a bit of a barney this morning, I told him that he is to only have 1 hour a day on his ps3! Bejeezus you'd have thought I had cut his right hand off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big argument ensues, I am stupid, idiotic, pathetic and a rubbish mother (ahhh whatever) .....:rotfl: teenagers. Gotta love em ehSo that will start from tonight and we will see how it goes! It all stems from yesterday when he was supposed to be revising for an exam today and lo and behold i walk into his room and he has his ps3 on, kindle on, and laptop !!!! So let's see how he does on his exam now....i'm guessing it won't be too well as it's all new topics! K I D S !!!! (and no wonder my electric bill has shot up!)
Back to the gym on Monday :j looking forward to it as I don't want to get complacent just as i'm starting to [STRIKE]fit[/STRIKE] squeeze into size 10s...!
Right off for a quick nose around on the boards and then to nursery! :AMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. I rememember size 10. I sometimes see clothing of that size in shops.
I also remember size 6 and 8 - however I was ill at the time. I am now a 12 or a 14 and my trouble is boobs. They are whamdingers compared to the rest of me and my husband is fond of them and would prefer me not to lose them. However I want to be a 10- 12 not a 12 -14 so there may be casualties. I am currently dieting which involves fruit water and cereal and one main meal a day.
I dig for fitness. Its like praying for time but with a spade.Trying to shift that debt!0 -

:rotfl: sounds like we've similar size figures I was a 12-14 before gym. No diet as such just more fruit and veg and I've shrunk down a bit. Good thing is that I have humongous boobies too compared to the rest of me so even when I was heavier my boobs were still bigger than my tummy and bum :rotfl: and luckily for dh they haven't shrunk (I was hoping they would so I could buy my undies in normal shops where it doesn't cost the earth lol);)MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000.
