Hmmm looking at the above SOA's i think perhaps we should just keep the house for now. I didn't think it would affect us that badly but I will only be able to pay £19 a month off the debt  ! I know many of my budgets are quite high but like I said when I started re-posting we've finally gotten ourselves into a comfortable position where we can do things, live a little, stop scrimping on the food budget & afford to send kids to classes and give them pocket money. I will have to cut it all right back again if I sell. Hmph. Not impressed
! Think selling may have to go on hold until we get rid of the debt and then get shot of it asap.
HH, thank you, my hubby said the same. I said to him i'd play around with the figures and see what came up. Well that's the soa's above lol. I honestly thought it would be worth more (not a huge amount more but still...more than that) If i sell at 110,000 even i will be making a loss on what i paid for it in 2006it's so depressing! I'm not sure i'll ever buy another house again!

They must have other cases like this. I bet DVLA will be able to help you. I can't recall what I had for breakfast somedays, how would you be expected to recall all reg numbers!

Re SOA
I'd keep the house. Things will come good.
Sounds like you have found right balance between getting through life and paying back your debt.
Most allowances are fine, food looks pricey but there are 5 of you to feed. The SOA enthusiasts would no doubt say bring down food bill, cut gas/electric a little. I would question if you are getting value for money from Park and what the alternatives are. Present allocation seems on the high side but hair and entertainment low so I guess this balances out.
Re mortgage/house. If it's income do you need to keep accounts and pay tax etc? Pluses and Minuses in there. Ie if You did get rid of the house could you claim the loss against the business? How much is in the saving pot for the rental house. Does that need to be in SOA?
You will get there.

DS1 has pushed food up since coming back from boarding schoolhe eats us literally out of house and home! I was quite comfortable on £300-350 before he returned lol

Last time I enquired about taxes etc was told the house wasn't earning enough (I haven't had a whole year yet where i've had tenants the whole year and they've actually paid so I earn £4-5,000 on it a year then have insurances, mortgage and whatever else out of it) I suppose i should re-look into that but i daren't as i'm scared they will tell me to pay loads back! Oh and savings pot was the one I raided so currently it sits at around £60it was looking quite healthy before tenant decided not to pay for 2 months
You will get there.

Thanks
AND good news hubby remembered the reg number, called back up and the car was NOT scrapped but is no longer in my name *phew* i'm quite angry that the scrap bloke lied to me but on the plus side i won't get into any trouble now as it belongs to someone else! hubby doesn't care either way so long as we're not getting in to trouble *phew, phew, and double phew* !!!!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000.
