Yes, just ignore, they will be like a tropical storm, there will be a lot of noise and thunder, but they then blow themselves out and all is calm again.0

We need a few clues!
Where was this? In a car park? Operated by who?
I am assuming it is a private ticket, but just to be 100% what is the ticket called? Does it mention a local council, or any traffic legislation such as the Road Traffic Act?Je Suis Cecil.0 -

The clue is in the thread titleExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
hi,
its portland car park in doncaster and the ticket just states cps services with the head office in mansfield notts notts
parking charge notice for 100 or 60 if paid within 7 days!!!
not police or local authority, looks a bit of a rubbish ticket to be honest!
but the colour of my car as silver and its grey!!! :cool:0 -
OK then, does the thread title say whether the OPs car was leased or not? That was my next line of questioning.
Never assume, a limited number of PPCs do act on behalf of councils but I admit its terribly rare. Best to be 100% certain though, no?Je Suis Cecil.0 -

Thanks. OK it is, as suspected a PPC ticket.
Next question, is the car privately owned or is it leased or a business vehicle?Je Suis Cecil.0 -
the wife wants to pay as she is worried about all the mail, but it doesn't bother me to be honest, I'm a thick skinned geordie!
thanks for the replies :beer:0 -
its private owned, but we traded it in today, as its knackered!!!
so it belongs to the dealers we traded it into.0 -
Is it really worth paying £60 to avoid ignoring some junk mail?!!
Glad to hear you have thick skin.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
Yes, that is all you will have to do, field a few letters. I wouldn't mind doing that, so if you like I will let you have my details, you give me the £60, and I will deal with the letters!
Or maybe you've realised it actually isn't any big deal...0
