You'd think people who trash their credit files would know better then using google & typing in loans for people with bad credit thinking these types of companies that give bad credit actually exist!!!0

Hi i am having the same problem with my loans. I went on this site looking for a loan. I didn't complete the application i even have a email from them asking me to complete my application. I did put my details in but once i seen it was a
fee of nearly 70 i closed the page. I checked my account on Tuesday to see my last bit of money had been taken. I rang the bank to find out who it was but they said they couldn't tell me because its not showing up in my statement. I checked the bank today to see it was taken from myloans. I didn't get a text or email or any warning to say they would take any money. Surely this is theft? It isn't fair. People apply for loans for help and they take advantage and make your situation worse. I have emailed them and ill be ringing them first thing. If i had 70 pound spare surely i wouldn't be applying for loans. Horrible company and needs shutting down.0 -

Not theft as you agreed to their T&C's
We charge a fee for providing a service of acting as a finance broker. We specify the fee as part of our communications with You. If You do not enter into a loan offered by lender or financier within the 6 months that we act for You. We will refund the fee less than the £5 brokerage fee provided for by the Consumer Credit Act 1974. Refunds must be requested in writing to avoid repayments being sent to a wrong address. To facilitate Us processing payments and repayments You authorise Us to retain your charge, credit and debit card details. With regards to payments set up by debit or credit card we will attempt to take £69.99 when you make your application. If this payment declines we will immediately attempt to take a payment of £1 in order to validate your card details, should both of these attempts fail we will continue this process until You notify Us in writing that you wish Us to cancel such attempts or a period of 60 days has passed. Should the £1 validation payment accept at any stage during the 60 days then we will attempt to take £68.99 once per day until you notify us in writing that you wish Us to cancel such attempts or a period of 60 days has passed.0 -
To the self righteous know it alls giving it the big 'I am' on here; these people wrote on here for help, not to be judged by you, either tell them what to do in their time of need or don't bother commenting. Neither use nor ornament!0

To be fair to some posters whilst everyone should read the terms and conditions, the sad reality is very few people do.
However I agree that people turn in absolute desperation to these companies, however they will only add to your debt problems; they will NOT make life any more affordable - general rule of thumb - if you've been turned down by the main high street lenders you should not enter into agreement with any other lenders - seek support from CCCS0 -

If someone chooses not to read what they are signing up to then they have no right to mump their gums when the company they have signed up to do EXACTLY what they state they will do.
No point coming on screaming 'I was scammed' and 'They stole my money without my consent' if they signed up to the terms and conditions.0 -

Never said they had a 'right', but pointing out the obvious that most people do not read terms and conditions - I didn't until after I had quite a few shocks myself when it came to credit. Having said that even from a legal position terms and conditions should be clearly stated, and terms and conditions that are unclear can be challenged. Simply stating that people have no 'right to mump their gums' is not always accurate - indeed people have every right to moan - whether that moan is legitimate is neither here or there- it's called free speech (within reason). Despite these 'terms and conditions' companies such as this know exactly what they are doing - they tend to focus their market upon subprime (and yet they themselves are quick to moan if people do not play ball with them) and hence know that many people will not be reading their 'terms and conditions' (which are often tucked away in an obscure section of the website). I'm not excusing ignorance but I can understand how people can fall into this trap.0
