Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
I am tempted lol. And next time I'm in I might say hi to Mark
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

My store is terrible (but in a good way). I expect someone to start following me round soon.

I have been followed in one store every time I'm in since Xmas when I picked up 3 of the boy's bikes going through at £9.50 :D
At first it was by the duty manager because I'd bought the bikes, put them in my car then went back in to do my normal shop but since then it has been a mixture of by security weither in person or by CCTV or by supervisors/duty managers.
I was in a few nights ago picking up 2 bed guards and saw security picking the same items up as I was then an SA taking the trolley to check the prices and then put the items back when they scanned correctly.
I wouldn't mind but the only DTDs I've had in there were a pair of straighteners and a Denby set (total of about £110) yet in another store where I've had loads of batteries, different toys at Xmas and other items I can't remember now (totals over £300  ) they welcome me in and even comment on how lucky I am in getting the stuff free. In that one I have picked an item or 2 up for the CS SA because they're told they can't get and their family are recognised, like they say 'every little helps' :p.

I have now decided that I'm going to go for the cheap stuff in my local and unless I really need it I'll try not to get DTD, although if the SAs really p me off that may change :rotfl:

What puzzles me is that I have used this SA before and he was been perfectly acceptable. But today it felt like he had changed overnight :S and it turned ugly. I didn't turn it, he did with his attitude and cheekily going and giving me cash.

I for once might not complain. Yes I tell everybody too when they have a terrible experience but I might be best if I keep quiet for a bit.

It has shaken me up, not going to lie. Mainly because it got so heated and even getting the go ahead from the manager on the phone he still pressured me into accepting the £6 cash:mad::mad:

He was actually one of the nicest SA there on CS so it's a big shock if I'm honest :(:(

I hear this story over and over. They are always nice till they either get a ticking off for how much DTD they pay out or they work out that they are paying you to take goods away while they earn a poor salary.

Put yourself in the CS persons shoes.........would it not p1ss you off to see someone coming in and doing this over and over and making loads of money from it? If I was a CS person you can bet yer life I'd make it hell for anyone trying this on in 'my' store! ;)

I wonder if the SA has had some grief from the Manager for the amount of DTD they have paid out, just a thought.
If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:
  • Thank you for the welcome guys, hopefully i can join in with all the chat, but with my local being devoid of any offers/glitches it may be some time before i can add anything useful.. Goodnight.

i do think you should keep kids stuff
    i'm exactly the same
i would love to see stuff from when i was little and wish my parents hadn't binned my old work

I have all of DSes school and nursery stuff, they are all in seperate A3 plastic wallets which are labeled with what school year he was in when he done them :o DH used to say I was very OCD about those things because stuff couldn't just be put into the wallets any old way, the new stuff HAD to go to the back and he HAD to be sure it was going into the correct one :D
I've just came across them today whilst looking for the bolts for DSes cabin bed so had to have a wee look through them.

Very good point tbh, never thought like that. However he has said, oh we're paying you take this away etc.. before. But today it was over £12.. Nothing major imo.

Maybe he wanted some strawberries :p

That's what I did wonder! As the conversation turned nasty straight away! Why didn't you notice. Never ever been asked that before..

Meat is my favourite whoopsies but last night it was only being marked down to half price at 8.30 so I didn't bother waiting for final reductions. There was lots of fillet steak too:(
I noticed they've also changed location of the whoopsies fridges.
What time did you get these tonight?

Early doors, I'm not gonna say exactly when to avoid the lurkers...

(If your local and a regular pm me);)

there wre loads of mince, ready meals and sausages etc that I left for the lard ar5es!!!:rotfl:

Just to add, I wouldn't make it hell for the customer. More to the staff not changing/checking the tickets. No OOD tickets, no DTD. Simply really.
