There are big differences between staff personalities though. There are the type that just don't care, ones that actually seem to get exited for you, ones that practically accuse you of fraud (!!!), trouts ofc.

I picked 8 double A's up, 8 triple A's, they're under the sink. Missed them the last time and ended up paying £4.99 a pack at my Sainsbob local when the kids Wii remotes went dead :/ Re-chargables are expensive and the kids must eat them because they disappear faster than the normal ones..

Nipped into one T's today. Quite funny, some guy going mad and refusing to leave store. (Did wonder if it was a MSE'r who'd been refused DTD on batteries haha). Apparently a staff member had laughed about the way he dressed and he had taken offense.. Stand off between Angry man and Manager lasted about 20 minutes before he gave it up and left. Was all a bit handbags at ten paces.

Talking about limits. The biggest I've done is 6 bottles of wine.

But I would never go and pick up say 30 packs of strawberries. No where near brave enough. Or even a Better than half price product I would only pick up 2 or 3:o esp with this Mark about:rotfl: maybe the batteries p!ssed them off this morning, hmm 10 packs might not have been sensible. I had a £6 wys £40 I wanted to use that's the main reason for 10 to boast the spend up. However it had ran out:mad::o

If you wanted to use the voucher why not buy a bottle of posh scotch and take it back? If you buy 20 quids worth of shopping and a 20 quid bottle of scotch then you voucher effectively becomes a 6 off 20 :)

For a university student, you don't think very hard :p:D

I would like to raise a glass to the VEGETABLE CRISPS for probably being our longest serving 1p find.

A sad day today that they are now scanning full price as they were one of my favourite finds. I know there were a few of you that were not keen on them but I think they deserve a special place in the Elite 11 history book. :T:T:T

Must have had over 300 packets of those, I stopped counting at around 200 :rotfl:

Are they definitely all back to full price or is there a new barcode on new stock?...

I only managed 2 and that was not locally to me. They were such a brilliant find if you managed it. Seriously did you really manage a dozen.

Dodo scanned them in my local this morning and they were 69p and someone else had already reported it when we got back. But I will have a look at barcode next time I go in. There is a slim chance only some stores have put it right I guess.

Only just stumbled on this thread today, what a friendly lot you all are! :D Reading some posts has taken me back to the good old R&R days when we really had a good time :rotfl:

Hope to join in if that's okay, as don't like to lurk & not add anything back.
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)
