Sounds delicious Fudge, if I'm ever down your way I shall angle for an invite
. Hope your family appreciate your efforts. No panic on the response front, we're all busy peeps. x :A
You silly billy, you would never have to angle for an invite, you'd be more than welcome, anytimeWell Mum appreciates it anyway :A oh and the doggies :T Not bothered about the others
:D
Just finished watching hoarders Fudge_Cake, I could really relate to the lady who found it hard to part with her children's things. I'm a bit like that. Used to keep almost everything but every few years we do go through it all again and condense it a bit more. Well it sort of stays the same size of as we add few things and take some away.
The last big sort out couple years ago was of all their pre-school paintings, school work etc etc. I always feel as if I am parting with part of them so had to let them decide what they wanted to keep. No way would we have got rid of any of it, if left to me.
There was a little bit of paper that had been floating around a drawer for years that I kept meaning to put away as a keepsake. It just said "I mus go rund Matts hose". In all the reorganising now that DD1 is back it resurfaced and it was only yesterday DD3 ripped it up and threw it away. Probably was the first sentence she ever wrote when she was about 4 or 5 so 10 years ago now. Made my heart sink she did it before I could stop her. But at the end of the day it was hers to do with what she wanted. I'm such a silly billy at times. :rotfl:
I know, bless her, Mum said exactly the same, poor love holding onto her memories rather than accepting change. Was so glad at the end to see how much they cleared and really hope she keeps it that way and can move onto the next chapter in her life
Mum's just the same as you, she's kept everything and finds it impossible to throw anything of our out  I'm dreading having to clear it one day because Mum's held onto it so long, I'm gonna feel guilty throwing it out!! But unless I win the lottery (please:A;)) the loft in my first house will be nothing compared to ours atm and I'll never be able to store it, and I don't really want it eitheratleast most of it! She's even got my teeth and the gromit that fell outta my ear for goodness sake!!!
By the way AMMat158, don't bother sending me an invite to your IRONING party     What is ironing anyway guys?

Brilliant post fudge-cake btw!
Thank you LTF
I think you need to take a deep breath and draw a line in the sand from today and lay low for a good while, meaning no dtd in this store. It's not just a case of avoiding Mark, all CS staff talk to eachother and reports must be made if someone is expected of foul play which will be passed to management. I don't mean to sound rude but doing 2 DTDs in the same store on the same day is taking the p, sorry but it is, regardless if the CS staff have changed and/or the value of the dtd. I'm saying this for your own good, as I know FK has been too, we don't want you to get bannedThere are OOD SELs in every single store at any one time, it's just a matter of finding them. But....just because there's an OOD SEL doesn't mean that it's wise to try for dtd. Like FK (master of dtd
) says, it's about picking your battles wisely and staying under the radar.
Yes I think you did, I just don't know how you manage it. Are you going to start the new thread Fudge?
Thank you :A Ohhhh noooooo that honor goes to Miss Laid'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

I just signed out of my hotmail account and on the MSN front page is this article;
http://tv.uk.msn.com/reality-tv/big-brother-10s-sophia-brown-dies-aged-30
A [STRIKE]girl[/STRIKE] lady that was on Big Brother has died. As of yet the cause of her death is unknown but she suffered from the same illness I have and this was likely the cause if not a very key factor. She was tiny like me too, from steroids stunting her growth. I take my cocktail of meds, go to the hosp, have umpteen amount of blood tests, am in pain every day but I still see myself as 'normal':o And then a story like this knocks me for six and I realise just how my life could change overnight with the seriousness of this illlness
Life can be such a bleeping bleep sometimes!!

Just to quickly say I've just seen your last post, Fudge, and not to let it get you down, it could have been anything that caused the poor young girl to die. Life's for the living, babe, and you certainly seem to pack plenty into yours. I'm sure I speak for many on this thread when I say you are an inspiration to us all. (19 Tescos indeed, young lady! :rotfl:)
Night honey, I hope I will get to meet you one day. :A xHope is not a strategy.0 -
