Hello everyone
I've had a successful Tescoing time x 2
DTD on four Finest Chicken Tikka Masala Rice meals :j - was hard work though. SA insisted no DTD, despite me showing her the 2 for £4.00 SEL, because there were 2 for £7.00 stickers on the meals. Got there in the end though. Found more 32p sild and 1 pkt loveheart sweets + wenchs.
Bottom of my car is looking like a Tesco magazine graveyard. All the mags seem to have been slaughtered the same way......by having page 102 ripped out
2nd shop
6 x bags of 50p oranges
4 x Braeburn Apples (currently 2 for 2.50)
3 bunches of bananas
So was able to use 2 of the £1 wys £5 off fruit coupons
£1 off citus fruit
£1 off apples and pears
All the above for a little over £6 - maybe I could have used the coupons a bit better? (bit tired and trying to work out as going along) but I am happy with so much fruit. Oh yes was planning on trying to get the organic strawbs that scanned at 3.99, but there were stickers over barcodes so that idea went out the window.
In the same shop -
6 Wenchs
4 Vienesse Whirls
2 value flapjacks
Sub total £26.60
after bogofs, offer on apples and coupons - total for 2nd shop =£10.600 -
36p of chocolate and £90 of DTD suncream
thanks to a txt message telling me where to find the suncream, I also found a few eggs in that store the next T's had [STRIKE]a few[/STRIKE] several eggs and mothers day bits
Soon be new thread time wont it? Ignore if this has already been discussed as I have been out since 12
miss laid-very well done xxx
are you travelling far and wide for all these amazing baragins hun?? How come your locals are so flush with glitches thats' what i want to know;)Evening all hope everyone is ok
Well im still in the sockless club but hey you win some you lose some
Celebrate if you are interested they have the nik naks 6 pack b1g1f 52p where you got the fish fingers from,
and the brunch bars in the ts where beki lives hope this helps you.
ah thankyou
i forgot to say glad you got some bargains yesterday
i am working all day again tomorrow, kicking mysekf for taking extra shifts now, i so hope the glitch is on still at the wkd my kids adore nik naks
by the way brand8 i have reserved 2 lots of 10 of the argos gift bags from your local, it was the only one in y*orks that had them in stock. I've changed my mind about them now-i can't get there while the weekend anyway, do you want the reservation numbers at all??
well another long shift for me today:(
hot water bottle 2nd night running things must be bad
managed a v quick T's run in my lunch break and after work but
no raisins
no brunch bars
no nik naks
one potato peeler 20 marked on sel
got trouted with welch coupons (tried on non chilled:D) in one store but got 2 through in another-coupons didn't scan -she had to enter them as non scan after authorisation, thank goodness it was a dippy new SA who hadn't looked at the cartons properly
Plenty of DTD opportunities in my locals re sony headphones and batteries but i resisted, I am high on the radar in all locals it would plain stupid to knowingly go for DTD.
LTF Take heed of the advice of the oldies on the thread, spread your dtd's around, keep your local stores for glitches and 1p items etc NOT for DTD ..........unless you want to be followed by security .............not a nice experience believe me:(:(:(:( never use CC and always carry cash for DTd's,
maryan hope your ok after your trouting, not seen you post for a while. Was it the *bb*yd*le rd store? absolutely vile SA's in there, the AfroCaribean lady who works on checkouts hates me and trouted me good and proper with the xmas 1p stuff, gave me evils last week with my welches coupons. Not had a dtd there though. Never give the items back for a refund in this sitaution. You should always wait until you have contacted HO and they usually sort the overcharge. Even so I would still fire off an email, if you have never had DTd in that store not sure why you got all the aggro:(:(:(
caz fantastic to have you back :j:j:j:j:j and you sound on top form, hope things are going ok for you, which steam iron did you get if you don't mind me asking
wendyak i think i have missed previous posts , have you told us why you are in pain? not meaning to pry but perhaps you need a review of your medication. i appreciate it's not always straightforward. would be happy to give a bit of general guidance if needed, don't want to upset redfox though:p
fudgecake i can sooooo understand the sock thing......i did a round trip to 6 different stores -nothing :mad::mad:and came back to several racks full at my local:rotfl:
FK think i saw a vague ref to your lipid profile, i wasn't impressed , give yourself a good old slap on those wrists and cut out all that glitched junk food young man:A
AMMat158 i have applied to be a philips iron hostess , thanks.whether i get picked or not is a different matter, i refuse to send photos and a video though:(, do you think i could send in any random party photo and use one of FK's fancy computer programmes to edit it with a few props they would fall for it?:rotfl:
ooh forgot to say i got 3 4p dressing gowns today, it was from the store with no SS's in, went to same trout as last week, lovely lady, but today as soon as i got to her she mouthed something to supervisor and then made some excuse that needed loo and made way for a supertrout to serve me:eek::eek::eek::eek: thought that is it i'm done for....i knew i should have hideen one of them:mad: anyway this lasy wa sa team leader, she was so dippy it was untrue, didn't realise until i'd paid that they had gone through for 4p ...but then it was too late:T
also bought 4 trays of bedding plants at 1/2 price (had wombled a £1.25 off when spend £5 on plants) forgot i could have doubled up on CC vouchers-does anyone think if i take them back tomorrow they will let me get a refund and buy them back with a couple more trays if any left with a CC exhange?
EDIT-oops rambled on and just read back my post and looks like i'm trying to do a fudge-cake lol, no notes so sorry if missed anyone out anyone---ooh i know who i've missed out.....the mothers day chocolate stash person....who was that again?????......major congrats-I am totally jealous!!!!
edit again......thanks for the laughs- loved the iron/vacuum/dishawasher stories....good to know you are not alone lol!!!!GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Just finished watching hoarders Fudge_Cake, I could really relate to the lady who found it hard to part with her children's things. I'm a bit like that. Used to keep almost everything but every few years we do go through it all again and condense it a bit more. Well it sort of stays the same size of as we add few things and take some away.
The last big sort out couple years ago was of all their pre-school paintings, school work etc etc. I always feel as if I am parting with part of them so had to let them decide what they wanted to keep. No way would we have got rid of any of it, if left to me.
There was a little bit of paper that had been floating around a drawer for years that I kept meaning to put away as a keepsake. It just said "I mus go rund Matts hose". In all the reorganising now that DD1 is back it resurfaced and it was only yesterday DD3 ripped it up and threw it away. Probably was the first sentence she ever wrote when she was about 4 or 5 so 10 years ago now. Made my heart sink she did it before I could stop her. But at the end of the day it was hers to do with what she wanted. I'm such a silly billy at times. :rotfl:0 -

You are lucky you've had that many!
I've worn my welcome out in one store after just 3

Err well I've lost track tbh:o probably have had 5 in the last 2 weeks at the same store. About 8 over the easter period in the other and also assisted in getting 3 too.
I had been counting after I got my first! was over the moon:D and then got another one the same week:o it kinda of snow balled from there:rotfl::rotfl:
And the funny thing is the store I got dtd in today also has a number of OOD tickets which I am tempted by:o
it's just too easy...0 -
Just saw the T's advert on tv and the 160 pk Tetley tea bags are £4.30 bogof, well in my store the sel said 80 pk extra strong and 160 pk soft pack £2.55 bogof
Obviously I could get dtd but since I don't like tea and the mrs is happy enough with sainsbobs 27p teabags i'll leave it.0 -

We had a sort out a couple of years ago when DS3 moved into his own home with his GF.
Prime time to sort through all their old school work and art projects. DS1 and DS2 were duly called to come round and see what they wanted to get rid off and what they wanted to keep and remove it all to their own houses.
I got so weepy when I saw them turfing out stuf that I had treasured over the past years of their lives
Best bit is though, my loft has loads of space to store other things now :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Back from whoopsying.........the smoked haddock with davidstow cheddar fishcakes are in the oven and will be served with a side salad.
Pick of the shop for me are the two packs of organic fillet steak down from 9.3x to 1.8x Those posh tesco finest fishcakes are very nice too, theres a few varieties and all are good!
The chicken, turkey, mince, cod in breadcrumb and the sausages I've just dropped off to a neighbour.0 -
Any advice appreciated.
How do you guys get so many of these till spits like £4 off £30 etc.
I seem to remember someone saying those that use there clubcards least get most?
Do you have two accounts and so use one all the time and the other very rarely to get these?
Or are these from wombles
Also all the coupons for the fruit and veg etc are these in the price news mags?
I very rarely get anything in the post from tesco0
