To avoid any confusion here is a full list of what I got this evening

100g clipstrip bags of Lindt Eggs BBE 8/12 BC 7534 (this was a sticker over the original barcode which ended in 2408. I dont know what BC 2408 scans at)

165g Bags of Creme Egg Splats BBE 8/12 BC 2850

Single Cadburys Creme Egg BBE July 2012 (I think, hard to read that part) BC 1600

Single Lindt Egg (creme egg sized) BBE unknown BC 8739

2 pack Caramel Bunnies BBE July 2012 BC 9515

Small rectangular cardobard box of Mini Eggs (about 3 inches tall - can't see a weight) BBE 31/7/12 BC 2515

Small Lindt Bunny (maybe 10g?) BBE unknown, BC 1683

I also saw 1p SELs for Malteaster bunnies and Aero Mint Lambs but they were sold out so I didn't buy them and can't confirm barcodes

FYI, bags of Smarties mini eggs are full price, as are Kinder eggs

Just back from a successful whoopsie shop at my Extra and have two to add to this (I only scanned them by chance as I hadn't been online since teatime):

Aero Mint Lambs BBE 10/12 4604

Thornton Caramel Moments Egg (creme egg size) BBE ? 4878

Drat I didn't get any creme eggs :rotfl:

    GO GO GO!

Well, despite reading back a few pages I still don't know what a price flop coupon is. Please tell - I've got a Tesco trip lined up for tomorrow.
    Thanks

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet but the little bunnies have now gone to 1p - it is a good excuse to use one of my favourite smilies :EasterBun

Thanks ever so - found a few of these tonight :D

Can't understand why the Aero Xmas trees are still 65p though!

    Random question alert! *bats eyelashes*

Does anyone on here know anything about roof bars?!
I did say it was random! I need to get some roof bars for my car for when we go away in the summer. The main things I'm wondering are they easy to fit? Will a roof box fit on any bars or will I need specific ones for my box iyswim? Sister in law has a box that she's said we can have, but I haven't seen it and don't have any info on it at the moment.
And most importantly any recommendations on where I could make the purchase as some of the prices I've seen so far have made me go :eek:

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm pretty much lost as it is. Thanks! :)

Got mine from halfords £60 sturdy enough for a triple ladder so roof box should be ok.

They have a part finder online so you can get the correct set.

Simple to attach, take 5 minutes.

Would also recommend taking them off as soon as not using as they are heavy making you burn more fuel than necessary.

Also if you have a roof mounted aerial, might want to either re-position or wrap a bit of cotton wool over the end of it ( stop it twanging against roof box).
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

How many people now carry scissors in their bags for going to T's?

My mum's started making use of price flops. Today she took the booklet to the SA and asked her to cut them out for her and then put a request in the suggestion box to make the coupons perferrated. (I think she's getting tiered of tearing through the barcodes) :D

I find a credit card and a handy shelf do the trick - hold the credit card beside the line and tear upwards!

Hi, we have got two lots of roof bars (different cars) from somewhere like Mick's garage (google it) very reasonable and fit v well. Most roof boxes have sort of u bolts underneath that slot through the bars. We drilled the roof box and added padlocks for extra security & safety on the road

For those saying about AA renewal earlier (soz, lost track of who) my renewal was £210+ for the level of cover! Went through TCB and got £115 & £60+ cash back. How nice for 20+ years of loyalty.

Tried to cancel my existing cover but was told I had to ring Barclaycard to stop THEM taking the payment? I said just don't ask for it but they said it has to be cancelled by BC. Half an hour on the phone to BC, in the end spoke to supervisor who said she would block any payments to AA until I give authorisation direct to BC. She also suggested getting it in writing from AA that existing cover is cancelled as they can't guarantee it will stop AA trying to take money

    Be warned

I think its about time the government outlawed these continuous payment things. I signed up to RAC last year and you MUST fill out the bit that says it will autorenew and take payment. Sorry but thats not fair business IMO.

Had a look on Halfords and their value ones come in at £89.98 for my car. Does that sound ok, or do you reckon I could get cheaper? :o

The ones that keep coming when I try and search are Thule and Mont Blanc but they are way out my budget :eek:

Thanks Frequent. If I do manage to get some, I'll def remember and take them off when they aren't being used ;)

Pretty much as FQ said, any box will fit the bars but the bars are specific to the car, if you already have roof rails even easier, the first time of setting up fitting will take 1/2 hr after that 5 mins...I got mine from ebay for a tenner!:D

find out from halfords on line which ones you need, then search ebay for right ones! hth:)
