ok....so who's going to brave exchanging £5 into £10 clothing and buying 250 packs of socks :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks that did make me laugh, it would be good to see what excuse they came up with to not sell them.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

For those saying about AA renewal earlier (soz, lost track of who) my renewal was £210+ for the level of cover! Went through TCB and got £115 & £60+ cash back. How nice for 20+ years of loyalty.

Tried to cancel my existing cover but was told I had to ring Barclaycard to stop THEM taking the payment? I said just don't ask for it but they said it has to be cancelled by BC. Half an hour on the phone to BC, in the end spoke to supervisor who said she would block any payments to AA until I give authorisation direct to BC. She also suggested getting it in writing from AA that existing cover is cancelled as they can't guarantee it will stop AA trying to take money

    Be warned
Hi Cakie, it was me :D If you take out your AA policy online (as I did last yr) they automatically sign you up for renewal as that's how they hope to snare you the following year. My current policy expires in 5 wks so i just rang the AA today to cancel over the phone and it was easy peasy..Wonder if it had anything to do with me paying my debit card as opposed to Credit card? I dont know. Anyway, I've took out my new policy online and cancelled my old one and saved some cash for doing it. Yippee to me :T ha ha.

I've got ten more mins then I'm off to bed, can't do late nights..

To avoid any confusion here is a full list of what I got this evening

100g clipstrip bags of Lindt Eggs BBE 8/12 BC 7534 (this was a sticker over the original barcode which ended in 2408. I dont know what BC 2408 scans at)

165g Bags of Creme Egg Splats BBE 8/12 BC 2850

Single Cadburys Creme Egg BBE July 2012 (I think, hard to read that part) BC 1600

Single Lindt Egg (creme egg sized) BBE unknown BC 8739

2 pack Caramel Bunnies BBE July 2012 BC 9515

Small rectangular cardobard box of Mini Eggs (about 3 inches tall - can't see a weight) BBE 31/7/12 BC 2515

Small Lindt Bunny (maybe 10g?) BBE unknown, BC 1683

I also saw 1p SELs for Malteaster bunnies and Aero Mint Lambs but they were sold out so I didn't buy them and can't confirm barcodes

FYI, bags of Smarties mini eggs are full price, as are Kinder eggs

I got out of my jammies and dressed and went back to the store where i saw the creme eggs and aero lambs earlier - n surprise surprise ALL GONE !!! They did have aero christmas trees but the woman on SS was watching me like a hawk as have had a run in with her previously so didn't dare try to scan them on ss whilst she was there so may have to have a look again tomorrow and hope shes not working.
    No fish fingers
    No socks
    No easter goodies
    No nothing :(:(:(

I' the guilty one for the pineapple recipe...what's up?

My pineapple corer came today. How much easier is it and why in earth did I not get one before???
Yippee, the elusive "recipe" poster :rotfl: I was just saying in an earlier post that my Xmas gifts ideas are hampers, with lots of personalised things put in, and then a home made mini xmas cake by moi and a pineapple chilli chutney but I wasn't sure who had posted the recipe (It's saved on my PC). So thanks QofC :T

I didn't open my renewal last year until too late so this year I jumped on it but they are mucking me about with cancelling.

Thanks for this. It must have been it. I can just remember a display near the front of the store. I thought it was all separates like the offer at boots though. I will have to look tomorrow.
