How many people now carry scissors in their bags for going to T's?

My mum's started making use of price flops. Today she took the booklet to the SA and asked her to cut them out for her and then put a request in the suggestion box to make the coupons perferrated. (I think she's getting tiered of tearing through the barcodes) :D

I was just thinking today as I was tearing out price flop coupons, I must start carrying scissors in my bag. :rotfl:

For those saying about AA renewal earlier (soz, lost track of who) my renewal was £210+ for the level of cover! Went through TCB and got £115 & £60+ cash back. How nice for 20+ years of loyalty.

Tried to cancel my existing cover but was told I had to ring Barclaycard to stop THEM taking the payment? I said just don't ask for it but they said it has to be cancelled by BC. Half an hour on the phone to BC, in the end spoke to supervisor who said she would block any payments to AA until I give authorisation direct to BC. She also suggested getting it in writing from AA that existing cover is cancelled as they can't guarantee it will stop AA trying to take money

    Be warned

I have been with AA for a number of years. I've got the basic roadside assistance for £30 off their website.

I too get ridiculous renewal prices! If they want to play games then it's game on as far as I'm concerned.

I ring up to cancel my policy, they fob me off by bringing it down from £100 to £70. So I remain polite and cancel my policy. I then wait a day or so (when I know I'm not going to be using my car) and rejoin via Quidco as a new customer. Quidco/AA always have decent cashback savings. I have had £21 cashback for the past few years on £30 roadside assistance policies. £9 per year for me; every year!

I think its about time the government outlawed these continuous payment things. I signed up to RAC last year and you MUST fill out the bit that says it will autorenew and take payment. Sorry but thats not fair business IMO.

I so agree. I got caught out by that last year. They took the money without warning and left me high and dry, not only that it was twice the price I paid the year before :eek:

Got my renewal through this year and it was so expensive, so called them and because I didn't want it on auto renewal they were charging me more  Even though I could take out a new policy and get it for nearly half the price. Apparently I had 'member benefits' by not letting it lapse and taking out a new policy. When I enquired about these benefits the guy couldn't tell me what they were!

In the end I told them where to stick it! Thieving gets

Well, despite reading back a few pages I still don't know what a price flop coupon is. Please tell - I've got a Tesco trip lined up for tomorrow.
    Thanks

It's the coupons in the price drop mags in stores. Like the cake ones everyone is using at the moment.

I shall simply play the swap game. Nowt between them anyway!! I shall do AA this year then RAC next year and that way I get my cashback every year lol. :D

Pretty much as FQ said, any box will fit the bars but the bars are specific to the car, if you already have roof rails even easier, the first time of setting up fitting will take 1/2 hr after that 5 mins...I got mine from ebay for a tenner!:D

find out from halfords on line which ones you need, then search ebay for right ones! hth:)

No roof rails on the car, that was what was throwing me as I couldn't work out how they would attach! :o:o Think I've got that now though :rotfl: Good to know any box will fit.

    Seen these ones, any opinions?!

Never thought of Ebay so will take a wee look on there as well. Thanks guys :D
