Definitely not - desperately trying to find some as could really do with some thermal ones for my OH!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
It may be because it is grape, pear and apple. The pictures in the book show white, purple and rose' grape on their own.
Dont always go by the pics on a coupon. Most coupons scan on the same product line regardless of flavours. The one i'd initially picked up wasnt the same product line as it wasnt chilled, picked it up from the normal drinks aisle rather than the chiller cabinet. That was my mistake
The Palmolive coupon for example scanned on the red bottle which wasnt shown on the pic..;)Who's the more foolish: the fool, or the fool who follows him?OBI-WAN KENOBI:beer: :A :beer:0 -
Dropped daughter off at training and decided to walk the mile to Mr Ts, the exercise is good for me?? Now feel part of the gang as no socks, no fish fingers, rubbish whoopsies. The only thing I managed to get was wet as it was chucking it down :eek:0

tigerwhite wrote: »Hi FK - It's just on their quidco website. If you spend <£75.99, you get £21 back but buy a policy between £76 and £99.99 and you get £50 c/b. Not sure how long it has been up but it says it expires in 4 days.
I logged in to check after I'd posted. Not worth me adding extras as I'll spend as much if not more than I'll be getting back.0 -
Thanks for the info. again GlitchHunter...just wish you typed in pirate speak.
I've also factored in the cashback for the contract. I'm getting a guaranteed £75 cheque sent to me (barclays student offer and it's mentioned in my confirmation email) and i'm 90% sure that I'm getting £50 cashback via Quidco/Phones4U.
I'm also going to ring Phones4U when my phone arrives and state that I'm thinking of leaving because of the deal you've mentioned. Because it's still within 14 days of my contract, I have the right to cancel...but of course, Phones4U will want to keep me as their contract customer; so they will offer me £36 off my next bill (this is highly likely, as people have done this over on HUKD).
So I'm calculating my contract as:
£36 x 12 = £432
£432 - £75 - £50 - £36 = £271.
I know that cashback isn't guaranteed, but I think I've got a decent chance of getting it.
I also have the peace of mind that my phone is under Apple's standard 12 months warranty, whereas this can't be guaranteed when buying a 2nd hand phone.
But I really appreciate your advice GH and I'll have your info. up my sleeve when I ring Phones4U.
Ah OK...I see your point re: apps using a lot of data.Just a quick question, if I'm at home where we have wifi, will my phone use the wifi for internet/data download or will it use mobile interent?
Also, we have wifi across the hospital I work at, so I guess I could use that instead of the mobile internet?
I think what I'll do is use the 500MB only when I really need to. Like when in an emergency situation...maybe checking for info. on a glitch whilst I'm in Tesco? :rotfl:
If you get all the cashbacks your deal is better.
I believe (people here will correct me if I'm wrong) that on the IPhone you can set it up to 'default' to a known Wifi LAN(s) and 'fallback' to 3G if the Wifi isn't available. So I would certainly set it up to use Wifi as the default.
Make sure you get the phone unlocked ASAP so when you are coming to the end of your contract they can't lock you in by 'delaying' sending you the unlock codes (happens a lot). Also take photo's of the IMEI numbers on the box and serial numbers and E-Mail them to yourself so if anything happens to the phone you have a record elsewhere from the phone.
I think the MSE app is in the app store, I'm on Android so not sure of the Apple equivalent.0 -

For those saying about AA renewal earlier (soz, lost track of who) my renewal was £210+ for the level of cover! Went through TCB and got £115 & £60+ cash back. How nice for 20+ years of loyalty.
Tried to cancel my existing cover but was told I had to ring Barclaycard to stop THEM taking the payment? I said just don't ask for it but they said it has to be cancelled by BC. Half an hour on the phone to BC, in the end spoke to supervisor who said she would block any payments to AA until I give authorisation direct to BC. She also suggested getting it in writing from AA that existing cover is cancelled as they can't guarantee it will stop AA trying to take money

Random question alert! *bats eyelashes*
Does anyone on here know anything about roof bars?!
I did say it was random! I need to get some roof bars for my car for when we go away in the summer. The main things I'm wondering are they easy to fit? Will a roof box fit on any bars or will I need specific ones for my box iyswim? Sister in law has a box that she's said we can have, but I haven't seen it and don't have any info on it at the moment.
And most importantly any recommendations on where I could make the purchase as some of the prices I've seen so far have made me go :eek:
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm pretty much lost as it is. Thanks!...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
