Bought it.
I asked a couple of friends and I read all the thread on HUKD; the general consensus is that it is a great deal; especially as it's 12 months.
EDIT: bought it earlier today, so still time to cancel up to 7 or 14 days after receiving the item.
Added because of the edit.
The total contract cost is about £430.
You can pick up a good quality 2nd hand Iphone 4S or Samsung S2 for about £250 and with the giffgaff SIM above get better data allocation and pay less.
£250 (phone) + £120 (giffgaff £10 PM) = £370 saving about £50.
I've even seen Samsung S2 phones go for £190 and as the new S3 has just been launched prices are dropping.

Evening all! Went to whoopsie tonight but was too late
Think they're getting earlier, need to get there before 6pm.
Had a little wander about and no Youngs Fish Fingers at all which was a shame.
However, did get 5 Denby Everyday Mushroom dinner plates for.......15p each:eek: That was on the SEL! Was no way leaving them at that price, even if they don't necessarily match my other stuff lol!
Oh, and also a lone bag of Haribo Heart throbs!
Is all Easter choc stuff now 1p? One of my stores has been v organised and has stickered over every barcode in the clearance section - v annoying!0 -

At the end of your contract make sure to give them a cancellation notice and get yourself a giffgaff SIM. Giffgaff runs on the O2 network and is owned by the same parent company.
For £10 per month you can get 250 minutes, unlimited Text and (This is the important bit) unlimited Internet. There's no contract and you can top up with O2 PAYG vouchers from Tesco. If you spend £20 per month you get the same as above but 800 minutes.
Most of these contracts for smartphones limit your data access which is where you can get caught out and end up paying more, to really get the best from a Smartphone you should have no less then 3GB per month IMHO (I know there will be people here who only use 500k per month...so leave it!!), with some web browsing and the occasional youtube vid you can use 3GB without too many problems.
As an example a single page of MSE forum takes about 600k (there's lots of graphics and stuff), so you can work out the numbers yourself. If you use the MSE APP that number will come down but you still get sent adverts etc...which also chew up your data allocation.
Enjoy the phone and welcome to the wonderful world of APPS, you'll be up all night!!
Brilliant! Thanks for the info!
I also forgot to say that there is no upfront cost for the phone and that I have unlimited data for the first 3 months. Vodafone have this 'test data' thing; after the 3 months are up, you get sent a text to say how much you've used and recommend better (and probably more expensive!) price plans.
I doubt I'll use much data while out and about. I certainly won't be watching any videos on youtube or anything like that. Most of my web browsing will be done at home where we have wireless internet....so I think I'll be ok. I'm also going to check my usage everyday on the vodafone website; especially after the unlimited data finishes.
Can't wait to get it!

Sorry, this was an express so their Easter stocks were limited to what they had at the tills. That didn't include 6 packs of creme eggs
I didn't buy any aero mint lambs but I saw a 1p SEL for them and SA confirmed that a woman was in and bought 140 of the various chocolates including aero lambs. He was surprised I found anything at all (I checked behind the trays that sit inside the shelves and there was also a "bin" that still had some of the larger bags in it)lindt bunnies must have gone to 1p today, i tried some instore yesterday and still scanned at 40p, didnt try today typical!:mad:
I had previously noticed that the Easter RTC yellow SELs all said "offer ends 8/5/12" I just didn't think they would go to 1p on the 9th!
I expected the offer prices would have been extended another month or so since Mothers Day chocs are far from being 1pApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
