Evening all. My OH thinks he may have found the health and safety issue with the 4p socks as when he took them off last night he then walked what we call 'sock fluff' (the little fluffy stuff that sticks to your feet from the insides of the socks) all over my clean carpets and suddenly feared for his life when I saw the mess LOL

Found more packs of the socks today got couple for family tonnes left on the shelves thou any1 in Norfolk area I'll let you know where they are hiding.

I cant believe the easter stuff has gone to 1p already!! I was just in my local and couldn't believe the array of 1p SELs next to empty shelves. Fortunately 30 items had fallen behind the shelves for me to pick up

    i just got myself some

    Cadburys Splat Bags
    Cadbury Creme Eggs
    Clipstrip Lindt eggs
    Lindt eggs
    Caramel Bunnies
    Mini Egg small tubes

I've only caught up to last night so I trust this is old news by now

So jt seems this is new news! Just went back in and spoke to SA. Prices have been labelled at 1p since 8am

Other 1p items that i missed out on are aero lamb and malteaster bunnies

Beware its not all egg type products that are reduced. Kinder eggs still full price (i was being really optimistic with that!) and bags of Smartie eggs also full price
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
  • Right I'm off to tesco.

    Check for tesco living magazine.
Check iceberg lettuce - 50 extra clubcard points
Buy some basic products I need - squash:o
Check Thornton moments! - I will scan a pack at SS and get back to you lot (but mainly depends on what SA is at SS)
    Check kylie Minogue perfume SEL.
Put some clubcard points on, very forgetful lately;)
    Womble

    Evening all *waves*

I might drag myself to T's on my way home from my late shift at 10pm. Would like some socks, but I don't like my chances!

Will also look out for grape juice & easter bits.
I don't think i will do the cake thing due to the diet ....I still have to pay 70p for 3 packs, is that right?

Anything else I should keep my eyes open for? If anyone local to me knows where they are and aren't socks please pm me!

I lost another 2 pound at SW last night 2 stone 5 pound now, but going much more slowly. It's my birthday tomorrow, so I might have a day off. :D

Nope, no new super glitches to report from me izzeyb. :(

Just thought I'd say :hello: to everyone. Placement is quite intense now and they put you in a role where you are a junior doctor but you are supervised all the time.

I've also gone and bought my first ever smartphone! Have had my good old 'brick' for 6 years and it's lasted well.

So I've gone and bought an iPhone! :j It's a deal I came across on HUKD with Phones4U:

iPhone 4 8GB with 300 minutes, unlimited texts, 500MB data and 2GB BT openzone WIFI thingamajig; £36 per month on a 12 month contract. Having done some research online, it seems that it's a great deal. I ain't bothered by not having the 4S; for me, this will be a BIG step and I probably couldn't tell the difference between a 4 and 4S.

I've heard that the iPhone 5 is coming out towards the end of this year, so I'm hoping in 12 months time that the cost of the newer iPhone will come down. I'm also getting £75 auto-cashback as I'm a Barclays student account holder and I've got £50 Quidco tracking too! :T

Can anyone else confirm if the above is a good deal? HC84? Or anyone else who has expertise with prices for conract smartphones?
