Good evening everybody. hope you are all well and if not please help yourself to a big hug from me. :grouphug:

I must be one of the few people who are loving the rain today. Stuck in hospital for 2 weeks makes feeling the rain falling on your face one of lifes little pleasures. :j

Big thank you to whoever it was that posted about the £1.30 BOGOF cakes in tesco. Got two ginger cakes, 6 pkt of tesco chocolate mini rolls. total £3.
Minus £1 of £3 spend on cakes, £1.30 taken off for BOGOF and a 68p JTD voucher left from a couple of weeks ago.

    Total to pay 2p. :T

Only out of hospital one day and already back to paying almost nothing. Feels great. :)

Welcome to all the recent new members and to the lady who lost 8 and a half stone  that's amazing, well done and keep it up. :T

Off to catch up on the last few pages.

They are really nice! And it doesn't say so on the tub but I microwave mine from frozen and they come out great, especially when I forget to defrost my tea and all my food is frozen...

I got socks right at the beginning, must be two weeks ago now.
Only bought a few as they were all 6-8 boot socks and my lot have massive feet.
Came home last night and ds2 was prising a pair onto his size 12s saying "socks dont have sizes".....a very funny sight.

Carry your car keys and "drop" them next to a receipt on the floor. No-one thinks anything then. I scour the trolleys too, feel really shifty walking with my eyes glancing back and forth but I don't care:rotfl:

How about buying one of those trolley things on wheels that car mechanics use to look underneath cars. You could whip it out, lie on your back, whizz under the trollies and grab the wombles:)

Same here, they have plenty of youngs fish fillets but no fish fingers, just Birds eye and Tesco own brand.

Just picked up a carton of the Welch's rose for 29p and around 20 magazines, will pick up more tomorrow :D
Got the galaxy cake bars and found a single bag of love hearts.
Back down tomorrow for lots of grape juice , more cakes , veg and a bit of frozen food.

good evening all.. hope everyone is well

dont give up on the socks...after several failures at getting the 4p socks finally today new stock being put on shelfs as soon as the assistant left they went in my trolley..:j throw them in basket to go through ss last one scanned then sa behind my shoulder "not sure i can sell you those " i think i need a supervisor i quickly stuck my £1 coin in and said i have already paid for them so they are mine he stood there not sure what to do I just smiled said Bye then legged it out of the shop my heart going quickly i felt sure i was going to get stopped how do you all cope with the stress

then i had to go back in to get my proper shopping my daughter got stopped using more than 1 cake voucher the supervisor said we can buy as many on bogof with vouchers as we like but put them all through seperately so between 3 of us we put 12 lots of cakes through
