Another £10 voucher redeemed from 1psos now they finally have amazon vouchers in stock.
Now need to get DH to tell me what to buy my 3yo nephew and hopefully get it from there!Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

£20 OPd from Lottery 'winnings' from second job. Have finished doing that for them now as well.
Christmas shopping more or less finished now, Nephews present bought from vouchers, bought both our mums afternoon tea at The Savoy - think they'll enjoy it (they'd better at £120!) But there seems little point in buying them 'things/stuff', an experience to remember is better I feel.
Did treat myself to a pink heart shaped casserole dish and a yankee candle Christmas cookie candle and gingerbread man holder. Also a gingerbread man cookie jar that we all fell in love with.
Tree not up yet as DH worried that the needles will fall before Xmas! So here's one for here:xmastree:Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

We always have a real tree (well at the moment we do). Getting ours next Sunday to ensure less needle drop - usually don't get till the Sunday before, but that might be cutting it a bit fine.
Enjoy.

Tree up and beautiful. Old colour scheme of pink and silver looked horrible with new lounge decoration, so really old baubles dug out and is now red and gold (plus all the extra meaningful ones that have to go on!)
Visited Warwick Castle again yesterday and had a lovely lunch there. Girls have taken inspiration from their many Christmas trees and now want to make popcorn garlands for ours. Need to go and buy popcorn kernels - Holland & Barrett?
Food shop was £15 over budget, due to beer ordered, but this weeks should be £20 under. It needs to be as current account looking rather empty. I'm missing the extra top ups that my 2nd job gave me.:(Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Hi - hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Not really been on here much as I've been at home, and I tend to come on here while at work. Surprisingly haven't spent that much over Christmas though and am ready to start the new year in a good position.
Mortgage Interest day yesterday - £274.22, an offset saving of £57.18. Mortgage balance now £96108.19.
We accomplished quite a lot of home improvements last year which dented our savings. Lounge/diner is now finished and I'm really pleased with result (if not the cost!), also DD1s bedroom and our en-suite were completely re-done.
This year we need to have the roof repaired and guttering/fascias replaced. We may also have a light-well installed as our hall/stairs has no natural light. I would like the kitchen done - but this will be a big job and I want to build up our savings for a couple of years.
DH is still nagging for a new car - that's highly unlikely at the minute though!Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53
