I've complained to Lakeland about the breadstick maker we bought that really didn't work and they're refunding in full and I don't need to return the product - excellent customer service.
Then I placed a new order for friends birthday £21.99, plus a couple of other bits to make order up to £30 to use a £5 off voucher and get free delivery. Total £25.37.
Builder has just been in, we need a row of extra roof tiles putting on to prevent damp getting in, will probably need scaffolding to reach them, may as well get new guttering & fascias while he's up there - sounds expensive:(Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

£10 OP made from PC World voucher received from bank cashback, £5 cashback doubles to £10 voucher. Last week they had posh coffee makers in for £50, will try and get DH one for Xmas.
Second job payday today, £75 moved to DDs school trip fund, last but one payday for this as leaving on Friday.
Girls first show last night and they were all fabulous, but very shattered this morning.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Busy busy weekend - show all day Saturday, and neglected housework yesterday.
Not quite a no spend weekend but all needed - new kitchen bin - £20 & 2 bay window curtain tracks - £78. Will be paid for from my last 2nd job payday this week.
Oh and conveniently forgotten that we took DD2 out for a meal last night for a treat as her big sister was out at her 2nd show party of the weekend - £42.50.
Bought DH a posh coffee maker for Xmas - £99.95 reduced to £49, £10 voucher off = £39!
CHB in bank today and £120 of it moved to DDs school trip fund.

Hi megela
Just checking in with you - you have been busy.
Well done on the customer service victories and good luck with your complaint against argos.
Sad to leave a place of work, but I suppose if its more hassle than its worth its time to move on.
I used to love being back stage at shows - my aunty used to own a dance school and my cousin and I used to organise backstage even when we were kids! It was great fun. Did a show a good few years back too and that was so much fun. Miss it, backstage and stage front. Glad you are doing your bit.

Hi MCI I loved helping out with the show and have already volunteered for next year!
I've been so busy so just got 5 mins to update.
Finally got wallpapering done yesterday - I ended up paying someone - it looks fab - really pleased. Just lights and a rug to buy, and curtain track to put up. Ordered it sunday but not received yet.
As I had the day at home yesterday, I bought some work home and more importantly finally managed to get up to date with the ironing - 2.5 hours worth!Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Just a quick trip on here to report payday.
£300 standard OP made - balance now £97280.08 with a finish date of April 2030. We have knocked 2 years off the end date in 19 months. So chuffed.
Also £180 transferred to next years holiday pot, £75 to xmas & £14.75 to car tax.
£70 spent on new light fittings yesterday, but received extra £70 odd in wages so that cancelled each other out.
Weekend of finishing lounge/diner and other odd jobs awaits. I've written a list of 22 jobs for us to tackle!Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Ouch - rather a lot spent at the weekend - but a lot accomplished.
£1739 on new dining table, chairs, dresser, small cupboard and next of tables. Unfortunately table & chairs out of stock until after Xmas - our fault for thinking about it for so long.
£404 spent on a gorgeous wing arm-chair in N£xt that DH fell in love with when we just popped in to buy a gift voucher for an xmas present.
£150 on a rug, £21.78 on lightbulbs (I think nearly everyone in the house must've gone at the same time!), £23.38 on fixings for new curtain tracks that wouldn't stay up & £6 on a doormat.
All 4 wall lights up, 2 new ceiling lights up & both curtain tracks up (with a great deal of difficulty and wearing). My lounge/diner is now finished finally save for the dining furniture.
The furniture was put on credit card while I think about how I'm paying for it as I now need to start refilling the offset accounts.

MCI
Yes you're right, I just seem to be losing my mojo with being MF at the minute. The lounge/diner has cost me £1000s, but does look fab and will last for years.
Mortgage interest day today, £677 standard payment made and £269.39 interest added. I can tell our offset has drastically reduced as this used to be quite a lot higher! Mortgage balance now £96872.47.
Had to buy DD2 new school shoes this week - £40, but the last pair did do nearly 18months! Also girls insisted that as we'd never had a real Xmas tree we should have one this year - another £34 for a 6ft potted one.
Feels strange today having not 2nd job pay going in, but has been lovely not having the stress and hassle.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

£10 OP made from voucher earned from S&S.
Quiet weekend with more jobs around the house to be done, and possibly putting up the xmas tree.
Need to go tonight and try to buy stocking fillers for the girls. Have budgeted £20 - we'll see.....Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53
