It'll be an expensive day today as we're off to see Taylor Swift at the O2 tonight - need to take girls out of school an hour early to see the 'dentist'!
They are so excited that the teachers probably already know where they are going!Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Taylor Swift was absolutely amazing - what a show! I only went to go with the girls, and barely knew 4 songs - however you didn't need to know the song to enjoy the spectacle. So glad we went now.
Although.... it cost me £60 for a meal out (from monthly budget)and £80 for t-shirts etc. (took from savings).
And then the next morning I booked Katy Perry tickets for May for all 4 of us! £256 taken from holiday pot as we haven't booked one yet. I just hope she's as good!
Off to see Charlie & the Chocolate Factory in London next week. Train down from our station was over £90! - with a Family & Friends card! Trying all sorts of options to reduce this, going from somewhere else, driving etc. Have now got a voucher from different train company that goes from a town 20miles away that'll cost me £24 - a bit different!Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Quiet weekend - friends coming over for dinner tomorrow, but should be no extra spends.
Although DH has his eye on taking the girls to see the Lego movie! And they actually want to go! They are 14 & 11!
Hope everyone has a nice weekend.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

DH took the girls to see the lego movie and decided they needed premier seats - £29.90 for the 3 of them:eek:
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie was fabulous, got held up on the train of the way back though.
Finished week 6 of Couch to 5K last night - now running for 25mins - can't quite believe that! Also can't believe that I've only missing the gym once in 6 weeks - not like me at all.
Money very tight now until the end of month - may be 'borrowing' money from next months pay already.:(Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Payday today:j £300 OP made bringing balance down to £95071.99 with a mortgage free date of January 2030!
I've also transferred to the usual pots, increased holiday money to £200 a month, £75 for xmas & £14.75 for car tax.
Last month I needed to take £50 from the holiday pot to pay for our meal out at the O2 - but still no definite holiday plans made yet anyway.
Started a 5 module course on Personal & Business Development with the local Federation of Small Business last night and faced one of worst fears - speaking in front of people! Absolutely horrifying and only managed about 20 seconds to everyone else's 5 mins:eek: Confidence is a bit of an issue for me.
Off to London again tomorrow for my xmas present from DH - a cookery lesson with James Martin. (along with 20 others!) Very nervous and trying not to get worked up that I'll say/do something stupid.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Ohh how exciting to have a cookery lesson with James!! Enjoy every minute..:D
Don't worry about being nervous, i'm sure most of the others will be too and if you do say something well you'll never see any of them again so it doesn't really matter!!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

I had a fantastic time on Friday, James is as nice in the flesh as he is on TV. I didn't do anything silly and met some really lovely people. A really amazing experience.
