Hi megela
I agree with your reasons behind have a year off.
Its good that you will still be making some OPs and you are finding the right balance for you and your family.
Trip to Florida sounds great....
Hope we will still see you around.
All the best.

It will slow down a lot now as we are taking a year off to save for a holiday to Florida next year while the girls are young enough. Although we're already saying £7-8k is far too much for a holiday!Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Payday today!!
£500 - holiday pot
£75 - xmas pot
£14.75 - car tax
£75 - scout camps
£95 - new rainy day fund (for all those things extra)
The £95 was what my spreadsheet says should be leftover at the end of the month, hopefully won't need to use it and it can be saved.
Also booked car parking for the O2 for the Katy Perry concert at the end of the month.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Had a lovely sunny bank holiday and spent most of it in the garden. We haven't done much out there for a couple of years, but now have big plans involving decking and a boat! Just wish I could persuade dd2 that she is really too old for the massive climbing frame.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Payday today!!

£75 - xmas pot
£14.75 - car tax
£25 - new rainy day fund (for all those things extra)
Last months rainy day fund was used for buying a new bike for DD2 - an early birthday present. It's snot her birthday until October but she will get far more use over the summer and she's old enough to understand.
Had a day out in London yesterday, on the Thames Clipper boats up and down the Thames, visited Greenwich and walked over the Tower Bridge. In the evening we saw Katy Perry at the O2. Great day out had by all.
I had a refund from Np0w£r of £415 from overpayments over the last 6 months so we've booked a small holiday - 3 days on the Norfolk Broads at the end of August. Figured it's kind of free!! and it will be our family holiday this year. Really looking forward to it as I think it'll be great fun.
And on MFW news I've overpaid £10 from a voucher received from S&S.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53
