Hi, thanks for your kind thoughts - Aunty goes in for 2nd op tomorrow so should know more then.

Back from lovely holiday with friends in a 4 bed house with indoor heated pool just outside York. Now looking for next year - if anyone knows of similar somewhere else?

£12.50 OPd from T£$co clubcard vouchers, interest added day tomorrow:).

We were under budget on hols by £70, so booked car parking for the O2 next feb & paid £50 off credit card.

Mortgage Interest Day today - £275.24, gone up slightly because we've spent a lot of our offset savings on doing up the lounge/diner - will be building that back up now. (after I've bought new dining furniture!)

Balance is now £97659.10, knocked another month of end date - now May 2030, nearly 2 years ahead of schedule.:j

Nice surprise in bank this morning - £429.38 refund from Np0w£r!
Have used £388.29 to pay off holiday spends still on credit card & put other £40 towards girls school trips.

However when I checked Np0w£rs account online - they are putting up direct debit by £11 to £230! Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Electricity reduced by £7 & gas increased by £18. Still I'd rather be in credit than debit with them.

Looks like I'll be losing 2nd job very soon as they are struggling, I'll be able to put these hours to main job, with only a small loss in hourly rate and a lot less stress.

A massive OP today of £2.52 from £co!

Not much on at the weekend apart from a swimming gala for DD2, and rehearsals for the girls gang show. Hopefully a bit more decorating as that seems to be dragging on!

Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

  • Hope you get the decorating done - its horrible when its hanging on on the run up to Christmas - seems to put more stress on the whole thing.

We made a pact that unless absolutely necessary, we DO NOT take on any major DIY or decorating before Christmas - done it far too many times before.

Wishing you a great and productive weekend.
