Thank you both - we had a really good weekend away, great family time with just the 4 of us. Really enjoyed it.
After buying DD2 a new winter coat and spending £35 on Pizza Hut at Thorpe Park yesterday I am now £70 overdrawn for the end of the month, including leaving in this weeks 2nd job money.:(. I like to at least be at zero. Am going to try to start next month from this position and if necessary leave some 2nd job money in at some point next month.
I have extra work this week at 2nd job and am absolutely determined to send it immediately to credit card. I don't pay interest as it's DHs card he uses for company use., but I hate having debt of any sort.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Received a letter from Natwest confirming that we are due to pay off our mortgage in July 2030 (a month earlier than my spreadsheet!) That's if we just make standard payments, which of course we won't be!
Nice to know that my calculations are about right, but I'll stick with my spreadsheet or I'll get confused, which is easy done!Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

It's very satisfying when you find out your own calculations are correct.
Good to know you are on the right track.

£300 Standard OP made and knocked another month off - now July 2030, getting close to having knocked 24months off the end date in just 18 months.
Usual other transfers - £75 to Xmas, £180 to York Holiday & £14.75 to car tax. £5 to goddaughters pot has now finished as it stands at £500 ready for her 21st in 2 years time.
Online food shop done total of £70.95 so £4 transferred to holiday clothes pot - now -£101.45. Oh so slow!
A weekend of decorating awaits, we've been back from hols for 3.5 weeks and done nothing. So hopefully painting the ceilings, and PVA on the walls to seal them.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

£5 OPd from DT surveys.
Quite spendy weekend - £35 on winter coat for DD1, she hasn't had one for 3 years so I'll let her off this time. £8 on decorating stuff, £37.50 on tickets to see girls show in nov & £20 on 1D perfume for DD1s Xmas pressie (from xmas budget). I have now started Xmas shopping!:j
Decorating went well, got both ceilings painted, walls PVAd & brown archway painted white. Have ordered wallpaper, red paint & curtains. Need to go and choose cream paint - who knew there were so many creams!
A busy week of looking around secondary schools for DD2, she'll probably follow her sister, but need to show her the alternatives. The evenings clash with other stuff they have on though so I need to split myself into 2 of 3.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

2nd job payday today - £120 paid off credit card that seems to have built up, and £18 left in current account to pay for DD1s dancewear ordered earlier this week.
Visited first school on list for DD2 last night, a girls school, unlikely to send her there as she'll more than likely follow her sister to a different school. Just need to show her the options available. Anyway they were running a competition in the science department and she won it! A detective set is on its way via a friend at the school.
Visiting another tonight, again she's unlikely to go, but it is the local comprehensive for this area so just showing her really. Her sister is at an academy slightly further away, and has done really well there.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Just decided to work out my gas/electric usage since last bill dated 2nd May.
Gas - £129.72 & Electric £304.39 up to today.
As of today with all direct debits made I am £949.98 in credit, less the charges above I am £515.87 in credit. Next bill is due in November, so hopefully there is a refund due or a reduction in d/d. I know we'll use more energy over the winter but a d/d of £219 :eek:per month is ridiculous. I'll probably prefer to reduce the d/d and leave the credit there for the winter.
At least I know they shouldn't be putting up the d/d!!!Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53
